    What amazing views 😮😊. I think I could spend a lot of time there. You were very lucky with the weather. What is the building actually used for. It looks a beautiful building. I like the glass with the skyline on it. You really are lucky to have all of that so nearby.

      Yes Lesley, very lucky with the weather. I am sure the reat of the building will be used as offices - nice view from work! :)

    This is the ultimate birds-eye view of London. We can really see the fullness of the areas of London. Tower of London and its surroundings and the Tower Bridge. The Walkie-Talkie looks dwarfed by the Horizon 22. Love the building top of the triangular shaped building on the right with the full green garden space on top. I wonder if they plan to put benches along the windows so folks can sit and sip tea and coffee and enjoy? Maybe not as they probably want folks to move along and not stay too long. LOL Great video of this new building. It is a beautiful building.

      Luana, I think you're right - no benches = move on and out :):)

    Amazing views and surprisingly it’s free. The cafe there must be expensive though? And are you allowed to spend a couple of hours there, relaxing, drinking tea and watching the views with friends or family?

    • @LondonVisited
      @LondonVisited  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes amazing views! Cafe seemed reasonable price and although it says you have an hour there, I can't see how they will throw you out. If going have fun! :)

      H22 is on a higher floor, the top 100'ft or so of The Shard is just the glass and steel rigging which make up its peak.

  • @ModernMusicNo1
    @ModernMusicNo1 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    It is not taller. It's wonderful that it is free but the Shard Observation deck is on the 72nd Floor. So 58 is pretty close and free.

    • @LondonVisited
      @LondonVisited  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Thanks for watching, it is taller at Horizon 22 as the floors are wider - Horizon 22 is 254 metres above ground and, across the water, View From The Shard is 244 metres above ground level - 10 metres in it :)
