I Love Akane!! She is a genius on the kit. I love that no cymbal is safe around her! I used to call her "Akane, I never met a cymbal that I didn't like, Hirose!" Seriously though, she has fantastic technique, timing and Musical sense that drives the song while still complimenting her Band-Mates and keeping the listeners attention. Absolutely my favorite drummer these days!

Her technique is superb. But what strikes me above all is the speed of her movements: she is lightning fast!
I know and she has such a light grip on the sticks
She also can move all her hands and feet independently. Look how she keeps one rhythm on a cymbal with her right arm while doing a different rhythm on the snare with her left arm. And then doing occasional kick rolls with her feet at the same time.
@@VladimirChupin Well, that's a request for any decent drummer. But she definitly mastered it, yes.
@@VladimirChupin She's mastering her craft nicely. If you want to see a drummer truly separate legs and feet (like 2 brains doing different rhythms) check out 'Neil Peart Drum Solo (Frankfurt)'
Akane's technique is near flawless.

I love the reach and cymbal grabs near the end. She's a machine.
The mark of her greatness is that she has endorsements by Zildjian...in addition with her primary endorsement with Tama Drums.
And so she should have a primary endorsement with Tama Drums
I think her original kit was a Sonar. She probably still has it.
I read that Kanami writes the drum phrases and Akane edits them because some of them require the use of three hands!!
In an article I read Akane says Kanami is always pushing everyone in the band to push their limits.
Renie was one of those tracks Akane has to and does kick at 190bpm!! (she told Kanami she could kick at 180 when writing the music).
I believe she had to take a short break due to an injury (could have been her back).
Such an infectious, joyous smile and personality A-chan (what her band mates call her) is the big sister always caring and watching over the other members.
Yes she is just as dummer and a person I am just glad that I am still around to see Band-Maid

Akane is a fantastic drummer, and these overhead perspectives show the amount of skill and energy that goes into a song. Multiply this by 20+ for a concert and you realise why the drummer really is the most important member of the band IMO.

you know Akane didn't use the dual pedal at first and started using it after it was recommended by Kanami.
You know that Rinne Akane's first rehearsals were done with a single pedal the same as you hear the song now.
Do you know that Akane can do things with the double pedal that very few in the world do?
Akane can insert ghost bass drum notes at full speed, if you listen carefully you will notice it, few in the world can do it, this is really difficult and requires great study.
You know Akane can move her stick from snare to ride in less than a thirtieth of a second.
Many only rate speed based on the frequency of beats on a single drum element - usually the snare or bass.
Akane instead kills anyone in the speed and precision of moving from one element to another, it is for this reason that if you listen to the covers that many do of Akane's songs you will notice a lot of micro delays on the closures of the passages.
Akane can laugh and relax throughout a concert because she's playing half of what she can do in any song.
Many drummers especially from the west show up in shorts and shoes as if they were going to do a hundred meters race, but in the end, they only demonstrate great physical training and with their wild double bass runs, very boring and not at all musical, they only give a test of dexterity, which has nothing to do with music, Akane instead really plays the drums, and the ridiculous thing is that if she wanted to kill all these drummers without even trying, with just one foot you could say.
And this is proven, on youtube, there was a video, which I think many will have seen, where AKANE DEMONSTRATED THE INTRO OF RINNE WITH ONLY ONE FOOT, SO, WHAT CAN AKANE DO WITH A DOUBLE PEDAL?
Nobody will ever know because Akane is looking for music and not just speed
THIS FOR LOVERS OF THE BASS SPEED, who obviously understand little about music, and cannot get excited by the spectacular drumlines of Akane, who is probably one of the greatest living drummers today.

Im guessing their motivation for doing an instrumental is probably for Saiki's benefit...hers being the only instrument that needs a rest during a gig.
They did this so that people could learn how to play it

Old Mr B yeah I got the blueray disc from the concert.....supporting the band....
It’s not the concert disc. It’s the limited edition Conqueror CD. You get a BluRay version for Type A (Miku cover) and a DVD version for Type B (Saiki cover).
Her drumming seems creative, too. Does she do the arrangement herself?
Yes I think she does her own arrangement in the band and Kanami does the music
