Are they retiring ALL the diesel HSTs of that model or variation? They should try for a new diesel world record before they take them off service entirely. I thought one of them (presumably with multiple cars attached, line the TGV in its 2007 world-record run) went 238km/h (148mph). Perhaps this might be a good time to try for 250km/h on a straight-enough track.
Not as far as I'm aware. Only the leased has come up and they are being retired for passenger usage. Some are re leased again to work NMT works or freight workings, some are also being Exported.
There will never be a nicer looking HST than the 43.
Agree here as well
0:14 Nice to see an HST honoring its predecessor.

Hopefully I can get some more railway contents in this year. I didn't do much last year.
@@BensPlanesTrainsProductions i’m sure you will. Last year to catch the Castle 255’s - after December 2023 they will just be a memory 😧🫣
Yeah, well we see depending if they keep striking more.
Amazing

Yes indeed they are.

End of an era. Elegance like no others.
I thought these were retired in 2019
Those blue 125’s are a complete eye sore.
Nope..
There not, and also it’s called “Blue Pullman”
