He's not- believe me. Even if we were on the same side, there is bubkes Jason can do to help me overcome my loathing of guns. There is nothing anybody can do. It started even before we left the Soviet Union and has been a part of me ever since. Like back in Kharkov ( yes, it was Kharkov- not Kharkiv ) we were living in an apartment building where maybe 3 families were civvies and the rest- active Soviet Army officers or Academy instructors. And my best friend's father retired as a full Colonel and got a job as a weapons instructor at a local school. And of course his daughter and another friend of mine immediately transferred to that school. Gee, I wonder why. So " Olga's " father comes up with this " brilliant " idea to teach us how to assemble an AK- 47 even before the school started. They basically knew that my family was leaving so why did I have to come along??? So I'm looking at that AK-47, that horrid thing and I'm like, " There is no way in hell I'm gonna touch it. " So there is nothing Jason can do with a loathing that runs that deep.

Hey Jason! I first heard about you by coming across your "Spy Escape and Evasion" video series. So glad to see you keeping at it here on YT. Thank you for your service, and thank you for sharing what you know with us here on TH-cam.

Jason, thank you. I was one of the listeners the other day that asked how you got involved with the Agency. I also asked how old you were because you look very young. And you answered. I'm 70. I still work out, travel overseas for work even though I am retired, and I sent "CIAo" as my child suggestion. Good luck to you and your family. The future looks bright!

The funny part is she is sooooo smart and picks things up so FAST. Notices everything. And I actually find this uncanny for her because we’ve never mentioned this line of work to her. 😂
I’m convinced she’s going to be a “spy”.

Thank you for the video. I became a professional firefighter in my 20's. I loved the job, but left to make a better life for my family. One of the biggest influences on my decision to leave was, after a week of training by the ATF, I became interested in pursuing a career with the federal government. (Both of my parents had worked for the FBI during the Hoover years). I found that I was too old to apply, since I was the ripe old age of 36. That was a wake up call. I decided that if I were going to make any changes, I had better get busy doing so. I was told "no one leaves the fire department". I did, and regretted it for many years. We moved to a different state and my wife and I both got jobs that paid considerably more money. Our children were able to receive a better education. The one thing that I could not overcome, was the loss of camaraderie that I had with the other firefighters. I know it was the right decision, but it was very difficult. I have always beaten myself up for quitting. I always felt that I had let someone down. I remember having a similar conversation with my dad. He didn't call me a knucklehead, but probably wanted to. His biggest concern was that I was moving away, and taking his grandchildren to another state. I don't think he ever accepted that I made the best choice. I'm sorry this comment has been long, but I needed to share my experience. I feel better knowing that someone else chose family over career.

@@xDwayne859 I wish I had a simple answer. Lots has changed since I started as a rookie firefighter. There are things you can do to improve your chances of being hired. Good physical conditioning is imperative. You may be in great shape, if not, that's something you can do that will set you apart. Is there a volunteer fire department you can join? That will be a great opportunity to get hands-on experience. Network with people in the fire department. Where I worked, that was a huge advantage. Since firefighters basically live together, you need to be able to get along well with other people. Good people skills are important. Here's my advice to anyone applying for any job. Clean up. Look in the mirror and ask if you would hire you. Look people in the eye, shake hands firmly and have confidence in yourself. I hope this helps. Be prepared and be persistent. Best wishes!

I don't know your leadership style but when I was in a position of leadership in my career I used, for example, " I work for you" (I told all of my new employees) or "I work with you". This , I feel, gives a more "Team" oriented attitude. Anyway, again I enjoy you content and maybe one these days I will come 50 miles North from St. George and say "Hello".

Jason, I too felt the need to serve my country. I joined the Army eight days out of High School. I joined to become a Military Police officer, towards the end of training, when the powers that be were deciding who went where, I was interviewed by (I believe) the FBI. They contacted almost everyone who knew me growing up, the local Police Chief, neighbors etc. it was for the PRP trying to get a security clearance. All to see if we would be eligible to do duty at certain bases. I spent the next couple years at a pretty cool duty station

    Jason:
I just realized that I'm a super deep undercover CIA employee. I never applied, never communicated with them, never went there, I have no official email or badge...but all of the subliminal signs are there. Meet me at the harbor with Ivan's briefcase 💼

I think you’re doing a great thing teaching some of the skills learned at “the farm” to those interested in having those valuable skills. It gives me peace of mind knowing that people close to me have been taught skills by this old man, God forbid they ever have to actually use them. And you’re absolutely correct, it has nothing to do with size, as I’ve said many times it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog! Thank you for serving and protecting our great nation!

" Agency shopping "? The CIA has a gift shop??? Do you have any idea what you've just unleashed? " Now, let's see- I'll take two of those CIA T shirts, three CIA baseball hats, at least one hoodie and two CIA coffee mugs..."

I took the test for “case Officer “ some years ago. Got a letter later saying thanks for applying and good luck. I later applied to and joined State Department DSS. Serving overseas, working with OGAs I think I made the right choice.

Jason, I'm a 65 year old veteran and retired LEO and can't do much anymore, but I'd sure like for you and other former Agency guys like Shawn Ryan, Andrew Bustamante, Bob Poras and other SO types, both inside and outside do something about DS operators who are ruining our country!

Deep State [DS] is effectively a secret and unauthorized networks of very wealthy and powerful groups, entities including individuals like, but not limited to George Soros who use their wealth and positions of power to control or influence our Constitutionally elected government for their own agenda and goals, ie socialism...

Thanks for another great entertaining video. One question - How does the CIA feel about you and other former agents that are now sharing what you have been taught ? The lower the profile, the better for the agency ?

Not trying to bash on you but have you seen what’s been going on with all the agencies since the 60’s? If you haven’t yet figured out who the good and bad guys truly are by now, you are very deep asleep. Humbly.
