Worked Great!!! The toilet was hopelessly clogged and there was an ugly messy sludge in the bowl when the water slowly went down by itself. Tried the soap and hot water trick and everything works great now. Thanks so much...
I tried this, amazingly, it actually worked! Thought I was doomed with the hopelessly clogged toilet, having to get a plumber out here, but then . . . discovered your video, and tried this. In my case, after squirting half a bottle of dish soap in there, I let it sit for about 2 hrs, then came back with the bucket of hot water, and heavy duty plunger. After a couple of plunges, it completely cleared up. Previous attempts with the plunger were completely ineffective, didn't do anything. Thanks for posting!
this works! I was plunging my toilet to no avail for nearly 30 minutes so I found this trick, took a couple tries bc my blockage was pretty bad but after the 3rd try it worked.
I'm having a terrible depressing Christmas so far and thank you as this video really made crack up- as I'm sitting here like cousin Eddie on top of the other depressing probs lol. I started laughing so hard when you threw the cap off. I've been trying this method for awhile and it's not working. Thanks for video and making me laugh- it was a nice distraction.
I soak Dawn soap and/or bottled lemon juice to break down the offending pooh. I pump until all water descended down pipe. Then I use lukewarm water and raise bucket 2-3 feet high and pour water ... like a waterfall ... more pressure to push offending items down the pipe.

I had a clogged toilet I took a black cable wire and ran it down my toilet work beautifully
This looks like a great solution! What is the long instrument recommended to get some of the bulk out before you use the dish soap/bucket of water?

I did the soap for 5mins, the did hot boiling water and let the two sit for 1min then flushed and it worked no problem. 💩🤟

To Kendall: What do you think of baking soda and vinegar. This gives this bubbly effervescence which may cut some of the muck and mire?
Would this work if theres food in the toilet? my son did an excellent job at clogging the drain by flushing down food and tissue paper dow nthe drain
