I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

I studied about this strategy for a while. But I have a big problem. This set up needs to have at least over 85% win rate to make barely some money in the long run. Plus the risk to reward ratio is so low. which is 0.2 R ( R - risk factor) . you risk 10 dollars to make 2 dollars. Which is in my opinion a very bad habit , Specially for beginners . I studied about this strategy for a while. But I have a big problem. This set up needs to have at least over 85% win rate to make barely some money in the long run. Plus the risk to reward ratio is so low. which is 0.2 R ( R - risk factor) . you risk 10 dollars to make 2 dollars. Which is in my opinion a very bad habit , Specially for beginners . Hi Craig! If I did correct calculate with the 3 short positions of SOL (127,1 - 128,12 - 129,04), then the r/r is 0,27 (W 0,3% vs L 1,14%). If it's true, then is not too lucky. 4W trades and 1L trade is equal. Thanks for your answer.
