Miria admitted herself that no.1-5 are on a different league than her, and from no.5 to her (no.6) there are a very large gap in the term of power, but Irene could defeat Ophelia (no.4) without a sweat and only with one hand. So, how could Miria is stronger than Irene?
Miria might not be able to harm Irene, but she could escape her with the Phantom mirage. To be honest I think neither of them could defeat each other, unless Miria manages to sneak up on Irene and attack her.

They ruined the anime in the last 2-3 episodes, , made it so they couldnt make a season 2. But now that the manga is finished there is talk of remaking the anime.
Raki wasn't the issue with the ending, goddamn. Raki went through hell and earth to get back to Clare, and she did the same for him, but when Jeane (a character introduced in the last like, 5 episodes) died for her (which Raki was going to do also) suddenly Clare gives no fucks about Raki and cries for Jeane. Like, the fuck Clare??
Yeah, I wondered about that, too...but the reason that I think Raki fucked it up is because [huge spoilers :3] he was the one that prevented Clare from killing Priscilla when she was at her weakest, which was part of the reason she became a Claymore in the first place.

Claire was by far stronger than Theresa. Even though she's ranked last due to her source being Theresa's head it makes it impossible for her to "cross the line' she doesn't have enough youki to permanently transform. This is why Claire is dangerous she retains human thought and emotion while the rest of the claymore can't distinguish friend from foe

Teresa is cool and I would like a short series focusing on her. The reasons why Teresa had to die or be out of the picture is because Claire is the main character of the series and having a much more interesting character around would detract from her. At least that is my opinion.

The problem is, the anime puts way more emphasis on Clare's power than manga (for obvious reasons, anime covers only about 20% of the manga). The manga hints many times that Clare wasn't all that powerfull...yes, she had cool skills like yoki reading (which she inherited from Teresa, BTW) and Quicksword (which, again, she gained from someone else), but all in all she was nothing special in terms of fighting prowess, she held the lowest rank after all. Don't let the anime ending full you, it's complete bullshit that has nothing to do with the series. It is important to know that because somewhere midway through the series a certain someone tells Clare that she was making a huge mistake during the entire time she was after Priscilla...and at the end Claire comes to realize what that mistake was - she was trying to awake herself, instead of the other one inside her, that she forgot she existed. Claire on her own did not posess the power nor skill to defeat Priscilla, that's why she was failing all the time. Once she realized what she needed to do, all came into place...I don't wanna spoil it further, read the manga. I know this is a bit offsetting, because the uploader said this ranking was based on the anime, not the manga, and I am referencing to manga because it has the complete picture...I just wanted to make clear that Clare, no matter how lovable she is, was really not a powerfull Claymore...but rather a strong human being.
I think they made her stronger because they planned to end it with her fighting Priscilla, if she was as strong as she was in the manga she would have gotten killed in the blink of an eye

First of the video shows how strong Irene is vs Ophelia, who is actually the No#4 of Miria's time.. whom even Miria has said is much, much stronger than her in other words. In fact Miria has referred to the difference in power between levels 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 as being that of more than an actual level. Second of all Irene's arm alone is as strong as to impress the No#3 of Miria's time, that being Galatea.. and Clare uses Irene's arm to do more damage to Dauf than Galatea can do with all her might. So, let's take these 5 Claymores you have chosen and properly position them: 1) Teresa 2) Priscilla 3) Irene 4) Galatea 5) Miria.. However if you were to make a Top 5 based on the anime version of the Claymore story, I would not even bother to include Miria in that top, why? Because you have forgotten all about Miria's time Top 5, in which both Rafaela and Ophelia have been shown. 1) Teresa 2) Priscilla 3) Irene/Rafaela 4) Galatea 5) Ophelia - and still it's a top where you would still argue where to place Clare with Irene's arm and with her awakened body. In fact Rafaela is so strong she may as well be more powerful than Irene herself. However she was not ranked any higher due to the Organization's plans to conceal her power and usefullness.

The fusion of awakened Teresa and Clare is the strongest creature in their realm so far. They pulverized Priscila. But I am not sure if they can survive if going against the Asakaram -- the origin of the Yoma
I love Ilena/Irene! She's my favorite character. Intelligent, strong, and kind-hearted deep down inside. But Teresa is just beyond powerful. She's unassailable. Galatea is an extremely skilled warrior but not strong to the point where she can defeat a single digit awakened being without a single drop of blood (like Teresa did when she killed Rosemary). Miria's got innate tendencies as a leader, and I think that is what distinguishes her from the others. (and of course, "phantom")
@@robertcampbell8070 It took Clare 7 years to be on Illena's level though, and Clare and Miria at that point were said to be clearly stronger than the others. So Illena = Clare = Miria > the rest of the 7 ghosts (Miria plus her intelligence will have an edge)

I guess based on the manga it's like that for "warriors only" 1- tresa 2-precila 3-esly 4-casandra 5-miria (Casandra and esley are both powerful can't be Sure who'd one in a 1v1.) Also (Clare with irene's hand and Irene with her hands are good challenges to miria. And we never saw riful as a warrior.

my humble list: 1.Teresa 2. Rafaela 3. Priscilla 4. Galatea 5. Irene Frankenstein Clare would possibly be able to contend with nr. 2, but I have a hard time counting her in when more than half of her being consists out of other people's- & yoma parts.
an valid top ranking of warriors of claymore and especially the claymore manga is nearly impossible. the number one would be pretty clear, but the problems would start right after that. even if you ignore the awakened forms or that some of them just had days or weeks to reach their human limits(like miata or pricilla) and others had years to reach their best shape(miria, rafaela, teresa and so on), it´s nearly impossible to compaire. some of the claymores were stronger than most of the others, but how would you know if cassandra or hysteria would win a 1v1, or roxanna vs rosemany... you just can´t know :x
let's be honest. the number 1 is all people are waiting on though. we all know who it is and as fans, we can't get enough of her because she's awesome. the rest of it is just bonus.
Priscilla becoming stronger than Teresa is only speculation and foolish. Yes maybe stronger than base Theresa and maaaaaybe 10% Teresa. Let's talk about 20% 30% or even 40% Teresa. Remember her Yoki increases are monstrous. Her 10% was greater than an almost fully awakened Priscilla. It isn't happening.
The speculation is kinda the point since we will never know definitively who would win. Even Teresa mentions that she doesn't know whether she will be able to beat Priscilla in the future. Her hesitation to deal with Priscilla resulted in her death and of all of Priscilla's awakened forms her transformation stage was the weakest. Her yoki only became more and more monstrous after that. Clare is Teresa's one and only weakness. With no Clare involved, Teresa 100% of the time.
1- Teresa 2- Alice/ beth 3- Cassandra 4- Histeria 5- Roxane (Without awakened mood A/B wouln't be in the top and probably Rafaela Will enter as the 5th)

Ok, based on the whole anime and what it covered: 1. Theresa, 2. Priscilla (excluding the final fake battle with Claire because it doesn't count), 3. Claire (she defeated Rigaldo), 4. Galatea, 5. Ophelia. I just don't see Myria of the anime ever defeating Galatea or even Ophelia at her powers at the end of the show. Post 7 year Myria she could definitely fight and even defeate Galata (who was out of practice and blind, yet fending off Miata).
Imma base this on what I've found out after reading the whole manga: 1) Teresa 2) Priscilla 3) Clare (as she in the last chapters. Having QuickSword, Windcutter, Teresa's Technique and Raphaela's memories/techniques, definitely make her OP. Remember, she was able to completely vaporize Raphaela's consciousness using full power QuickSword. Don't know if she is actually more powerful than Cassandra or other number 1s as she didn't fight them near the end of the manga... But, let's put her at number 3 of our list, shall we?). 4) Cassandra (judging from the fact that she was one of the 3 number 1s that the organization chose to resurrect and that she was the only one of them that survived that fight as an Abyssal One. At a point her willpower was stronger than Priscilla's and she even fought Teresa in human form. She lost of course but, still, she is definitely one of the strongest female warriors). 5) ? Probably Miata after regaining mental stability. So her potential is..big.. I guess.. Miria is strong but, not THAT strong to be on the top 5. Teresa and Priscilla aside, the borders between who is stronger in Claymore are very vague. Keep in mind that I am not referring to which BEING in the Claymore universe is the strongest. In that case, the list should e something like this: 1) Teresa 2) Priscilla 3) Luciela+Raphaela 4) Riful's Child. Don't know if it female or male tho. Prolly female. 5) These Twins number 1+2 that could change from Awakened Being to Warrior at will. Don't remember names :3. Another candidate is Dauf after being infected by Luciella+Raphaela. No, I was talking about female warriors only.
cassandra's non awakened form is pretty hard to guage. the only people she really slapped around were those 2 new generation warriors who suck. i do find it funny that people (not you, thankfully) still rank clare so low even at the end of the manga. she's clearly the strongest living warrior at the end even without her awakening. the combination of teresa's and rafaela's abilities make her a nightmare to hit while she can use a windcutter at will to cut you up before she finishes you with the quicksword. even before all that, she boasts an impressive yoki aura that literally scares miria the first time she sees her. the only reason she ever loses at all in the beginning is because she's so inexperienced. she was also ranked so low because always kept her yoki suppressed in order to use her ability.

I think it is hard to say, 1. In the Manga, there were different number 1s for example in different time periods 2. Even in the Anime, there were at least 2 different time points, Teresa's time point and Claire's. There is only one warrior that holds the number 1 rank though, and that is Teresa of the Faint smile, she even knocked out some other No. 1s in the Manga...
teresa didn't just knock around some number 1s in the manga. she straight up 2 hit killed an awakened former number 1 rosemary while only using 10% of her yoki. yeah, she mopped the floor with someone on par with the awakened forms of isley, riful, luciella, and cassandra.
For those still arguing, they need to know that Teresa is stronger than the Abyssal Ones. Those who have read the manga knows this. Abyssal Ones are #1 Claymores who have awakened, right? On the manga there's a chapter where a fellow #1 send a black card to Teresa only to awaken in front of her. Teresa easily defeated her with 10% of her strength without much effort. This means Teresa is stronger than the Abyssal One with 10% and Pricilla became stronger than the Abyssal's only after awakening.

Hey!!! Can someone please tell me what it was that made the claymores different from humans?! In one episode, when the bandits attacked Teresa and Claire, they were going to rape her but then stopped because of a distinction on her body. What was the difference?
Pffft. Top 5 would be 1. Teresa (or Raphaela, she was the only other similar one who's true limits were never explored but it definitely was hinted at being at least close to this level) 2. Raphaela(or Teresa, these two are def top two) 3. Cassandra 4. Priscilla (had a lot of potential, but I doubt she was stronger than Cassandra) 5. Claire (will probably surpass all these eventually, as she now is capable of using Teresa's, Raphaela's, and Irene's techniques.)
Oh and btw, what about Flora? Yes, I know she may only showed very little in the anime and seemed killed easily but Rigardo, but I think it was just a bad luck. Her "Windcutter" is on par with Clare's "Flash-Sword". If she may not be in the top 5, I think she, at least, stayed in top 10.

She said it herself while attacking the awakened being that she used Flora's technique, Windcutter.
They were on par because Clare’s quicksword only had 25% of Irene’s speed at the time. Even at 25%, Flore said Clare was slightly faster, but herself was more accurate

Whose is it?", "I don't believe it! Teresa repelled Priscilla's massive strength using just enough yoma power for her eye colour to change".
Yep, as a Claymore they have all stats with an A+, and Yoki with an S (Like Teresa), and if we think that they have the soul link ability, this make them way more stronger when together

Ok, those are scores or marks, from the highest to the lowest: (Special, or in other word, it excels the normal claymore level, like Teresa in her yoki, Sophia in her strength, Noel in her speed, etc) S, A, B, C, D, E. At the start of the anime, Clare has 4 E's, C+ and D, Teresa's scores are 3 S's, A and B, wich is a big difference, if we use numbers, Clare has 7,5 and Teresa has 33,0, the min. are 6 points and the max, 36 (The Black Twins are maxed, they have perfect scores, 6 S's)

Yeah, I wondered about that, too...but the reason that I think Raki fucked it up is because [huge spoilers :3] he was the one that prevented Clare from killing Priscilla when she was at her weakest, which was part of the reason she became a Claymore in the first place.

Claire was by far stronger than Theresa. Even though she's ranked last due to her source being Theresa's head it makes it impossible for her to "cross the line' she doesn't have enough youki to permanently transform. This is why Claire is dangerous she retains human thought and emotion while the rest of the claymore can't distinguish friend from foe

Teresa is cool and I would like a short series focusing on her. The reasons why Teresa had to die or be out of the picture is because Claire is the main character of the series and having a much more interesting character around would detract from her. At least that is my opinion.

The problem is, the anime puts way more emphasis on Clare's power than manga (for obvious reasons, anime covers only about 20% of the manga). The manga hints many times that Clare wasn't all that powerfull...yes, she had cool skills like yoki reading (which she inherited from Teresa, BTW) and Quicksword (which, again, she gained from someone else), but all in all she was nothing special in terms of fighting prowess, she held the lowest rank after all. Don't let the anime ending full you, it's complete bullshit that has nothing to do with the series.
It is important to know that because somewhere midway through the series a certain someone tells Clare that she was making a huge mistake during the entire time she was after Priscilla...and at the end Claire comes to realize what that mistake was - she was trying to awake herself, instead of the other one inside her, that she forgot she existed. Claire on her own did not posess the power nor skill to defeat Priscilla, that's why she was failing all the time. Once she realized what she needed to do, all came into place...I don't wanna spoil it further, read the manga.
I know this is a bit offsetting, because the uploader said this ranking was based on the anime, not the manga, and I am referencing to manga because it has the complete picture...I just wanted to make clear that Clare, no matter how lovable she is, was really not a powerfull Claymore...but rather a strong human being.
I think they made her stronger because they planned to end it with her fighting Priscilla, if she was as strong as she was in the manga she would have gotten killed in the blink of an eye

First of the video shows how strong Irene is vs Ophelia, who is actually the No#4 of Miria's time.. whom even Miria has said is much, much stronger than her in other words. In fact Miria has referred to the difference in power between levels 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 as being that of more than an actual level.
Second of all Irene's arm alone is as strong as to impress the No#3 of Miria's time, that being Galatea.. and Clare uses Irene's arm to do more damage to Dauf than Galatea can do with all her might.
So, let's take these 5 Claymores you have chosen and properly position them:
1) Teresa 2) Priscilla 3) Irene 4) Galatea 5) Miria..
However if you were to make a Top 5 based on the anime version of the Claymore story, I would not even bother to include Miria in that top, why? Because you have forgotten all about Miria's time Top 5, in which both Rafaela and Ophelia have been shown.
1) Teresa 2) Priscilla 3) Irene/Rafaela 4) Galatea 5) Ophelia - and still it's a top where you would still argue where to place Clare with Irene's arm and with her awakened body.
In fact Rafaela is so strong she may as well be more powerful than Irene herself. However she was not ranked any higher due to the Organization's plans to conceal her power and usefullness.

The fusion of awakened Teresa and Clare is the strongest creature in their realm so far. They pulverized Priscila. But I am not sure if they can survive if going against the Asakaram -- the origin of the Yoma
I love Ilena/Irene! She's my favorite character. Intelligent, strong, and kind-hearted deep down inside.
But Teresa is just beyond powerful. She's unassailable. Galatea is an extremely skilled warrior but not strong to the point where she can defeat a single digit awakened being without a single drop of blood (like Teresa did when she killed Rosemary). Miria's got innate tendencies as a leader, and I think that is what distinguishes her from the others. (and of course, "phantom")
Ilena is marvelous! If only the original top five had survived into the current age, things would be very different

Frankenstein Clare would possibly be able to contend with nr. 2, but I have a hard time counting her in when more than half of her being consists out of other people's- & yoma parts.
an valid top ranking of warriors of claymore and especially the claymore manga is nearly impossible. the number one would be pretty clear, but the problems would start right after that. even if you ignore the awakened forms or that some of them just had days or weeks to reach their human limits(like miata or pricilla) and others had years to reach their best shape(miria, rafaela, teresa and so on), it´s nearly impossible to compaire.
some of the claymores were stronger than most of the others, but how would you know if cassandra or hysteria would win a 1v1, or roxanna vs rosemany... you just can´t know :x
let's be honest. the number 1 is all people are waiting on though. we all know who it is and as fans, we can't get enough of her because she's awesome. the rest of it is just bonus.

Priscilla becoming stronger than Teresa is only speculation and foolish. Yes maybe stronger than base Theresa and maaaaaybe 10% Teresa. Let's talk about 20% 30% or even 40% Teresa. Remember her Yoki increases are monstrous. Her 10% was greater than an almost fully awakened Priscilla. It isn't happening.
The speculation is kinda the point since we will never know definitively who would win. Even Teresa mentions that she doesn't know whether she will be able to beat Priscilla in the future. Her hesitation to deal with Priscilla resulted in her death and of all of Priscilla's awakened forms her transformation stage was the weakest. Her yoki only became more and more monstrous after that.
Clare is Teresa's one and only weakness. With no Clare involved, Teresa 100% of the time.

Ok, based on the whole anime and what it covered: 1. Theresa, 2. Priscilla (excluding the final fake battle with Claire because it doesn't count), 3. Claire (she defeated Rigaldo), 4. Galatea, 5. Ophelia. I just don't see Myria of the anime ever defeating Galatea or even Ophelia at her powers at the end of the show. Post 7 year Myria she could definitely fight and even defeate Galata (who was out of practice and blind, yet fending off Miata).
I hope they would do teh same thing they did with fullmetal alchemist.

Imma base this on what I've found out after reading the whole manga:

3) Clare (as she in the last chapters. Having QuickSword, Windcutter, Teresa's Technique and Raphaela's memories/techniques, definitely make her OP. Remember, she was able to completely vaporize Raphaela's consciousness using full power QuickSword. Don't know if she is actually more powerful than Cassandra or other number 1s as she didn't fight them near the end of the manga... But, let's put her at number 3 of our list, shall we?).
4) Cassandra (judging from the fact that she was one of the 3 number 1s that the organization chose to resurrect and that she was the only one of them that survived that fight as an Abyssal One. At a point her willpower was stronger than Priscilla's and she even fought Teresa in human form. She lost of course but, still, she is definitely one of the strongest female warriors).
5) ? Probably Miata after regaining mental stability. So her potential is..big.. I guess..
Miria is strong but, not THAT strong to be on the top 5. Teresa and Priscilla aside, the borders between who is stronger in Claymore are very vague. Keep in mind that I am not referring to which BEING in the Claymore universe is the strongest. In that case, the list should e something like this:

3) Luciela+Raphaela
4) Riful's Child. Don't know if it female or male tho. Prolly female.

cassandra's non awakened form is pretty hard to guage. the only people she really slapped around were those 2 new generation warriors who suck.
i do find it funny that people (not you, thankfully) still rank clare so low even at the end of the manga. she's clearly the strongest living warrior at the end even without her awakening. the combination of teresa's and rafaela's abilities make her a nightmare to hit while she can use a windcutter at will to cut you up before she finishes you with the quicksword. even before all that, she boasts an impressive yoki aura that literally scares miria the first time she sees her. the only reason she ever loses at all in the beginning is because she's so inexperienced. she was also ranked so low because always kept her yoki suppressed in order to use her ability.

I think it is hard to say,
1. In the Manga, there were different number 1s for example in different time periods
2. Even in the Anime, there were at least 2 different time points, Teresa's time point and Claire's.
There is only one warrior that holds the number 1 rank though, and that is Teresa of the Faint smile, she even knocked out some other No. 1s in the Manga...
teresa didn't just knock around some number 1s in the manga. she straight up 2 hit killed an awakened former number 1 rosemary while only using 10% of her yoki. yeah, she mopped the floor with someone on par with the awakened forms of isley, riful, luciella, and cassandra.
For those still arguing, they need to know that Teresa is stronger than the Abyssal Ones. Those who have read the manga knows this. Abyssal Ones are #1 Claymores who have awakened, right? On the manga there's a chapter where a fellow #1 send a black card to Teresa only to awaken in front of her. Teresa easily defeated her with 10% of her strength without much effort. This means Teresa is stronger than the Abyssal One with 10% and Pricilla became stronger than the Abyssal's only after awakening.

Hey!!! Can someone please tell me what it was that made the claymores different from humans?! In one episode, when the bandits attacked Teresa and Claire, they were going to rape her but then stopped because of a distinction on her body. What was the difference?

1. Teresa (or Raphaela, she was the only other similar one who's true limits were never explored but it definitely was hinted at being at least close to this level)
2. Raphaela(or Teresa, these two are def top two)
3. Cassandra
4. Priscilla (had a lot of potential, but I doubt she was stronger than Cassandra)
5. Claire (will probably surpass all these eventually, as she now is capable of using Teresa's, Raphaela's, and Irene's techniques.)

Oh and btw, what about Flora? Yes, I know she may only showed very little in the anime and seemed killed easily but Rigardo, but I think it was just a bad luck.
Her "Windcutter" is on par with Clare's "Flash-Sword".
If she may not be in the top 5, I think she, at least, stayed in top 10.
***** I know, that's why I said Clare's Flash-sword, not just Flash-sword. If compared to Irene, of course Windcutter will lose when they have a match.
It's the one when she helped Galatea right? Well, yeah, Clare's technique became more accurate because she somehow kinda combined the Flash-sword and Windcutter. She said it herself while attacking the awakened being that she used Flora's technique, Windcutter.
They were on par because Clare’s quicksword only had 25% of Irene’s speed at the time. Even at 25%, Flore said Clare was slightly faster, but herself was more accurate
Now that I've finished the manga, I can say Teresa, Miria(just see how miria takes center stage in 1/4 of the series)
and Galatea are the best.

Many characters did say that Priscilla could surprass Teresa, but the fact is that no one really knew the true extent of Teresa's power, as we can see in chapter 23, when Irene reaches the battle between Teresa and Priscilla and states:
"Both yoma auras have grown, but one is far beyond the other. Whose is it?",
"I don't believe it! Teresa repelled Priscilla's massive strength using just enough yoma power for her eye colour to change".
I don't have a top, but one thing I can tell you for sure, they 're all fkng goddddaaam hootttttt.

Yep, as a Claymore they have all stats with an A+, and Yoki with an S (Like Teresa), and if we think that they have the soul link ability, this make them way more stronger when together
I just finished reading the manga. I was so sad when some characters died like veronica, flora, undine, clarice and tabitha. How I wish they would be resurrected. Huhu

spaceboy is right about one thing though..if priscilla did have enough time,she would have matched or surpassed teresa,teresa knew it and that was the reason she wanted to kill priscilla but clare's prescence stopped her
Ok, those are scores or marks, from the highest to the lowest: (Special, or in other word, it excels the normal claymore level, like Teresa in her yoki, Sophia in her strength, Noel in her speed, etc) S, A, B, C, D, E. At the start of the anime, Clare has 4 E's, C+ and D, Teresa's scores are 3 S's, A and B, wich is a big difference, if we use numbers, Clare has 7,5 and Teresa has 33,0, the min. are 6 points and the max, 36 (The Black Twins are maxed, they have perfect scores, 6 S's)
Isn't Galatea or at least her specialization in sensing Yoma aura from great distances known as the "eye"?
