I knew when my Director left our company and got a job at JP Morgan that something might be afoot. She is an Indian national, and although a very nice lady, she is also a corporate type person with the ethics to match. As in, no ethics whatsoever, will say yes and do whatever is asked without questions. So if people were jumping ship at the Morgue, I can see them hiring her in a flash to refill the ranks with wiling participants.

If this gentleman explained the clearance prossess, I would agree that he explained well.
My problem with him is he said banks take deposits and lend them out.
By law banks don't take deposits nor do they lend money.
Banks are in the business of buying securities.
That loan contract you sign is a security a debt instrument that the bank purchases from you and they put it on the ledger as an asset.
The money owed to you is put on the ledger as an accounts payable liability.
The bank calls it a customer deposit.
It is money creation out of thin air.
This money creation is good for us if directed towards GDP growth through increased productivity.
Business investment in new technology and upgrades.
This money directed towards asset purchases is disastrous asset bubbles and if towards consumption, inflation.
