This album is the culmination of every bit of hatred that has ever been experienced by everyone mixed together with the crushing weight of those instruments. Nails is nothing but pure, unfiltered rage and I love it.
I saw this album live at motorco in Durham and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The ac units in the ceiling were raining water all over the floor for some reason and I went hard anyway had fun and fell so many times. Unforgettable. I don’t even listen to heavy music anymore but I come back to this when I need to
I read a review of this band which described them as sounding like "omni-directional contempt". I'd say that about sums it up. The angriest shit I've ever heard.
The transition from Tyrant into the intro shriek at the beginning of Absolute Control I feel like sums up perfectly the ferocity and breakneck speed of this album
Aw man, Suum Cuique! I wish they'd write more slow stuff. Not because I have problem with fast stuff (I'm an old man, I've been following grindcore & death metal since they were born in the 1980s) No, the reason I wish they'd write more slow stuff is because they are epic at it! When they go slow, I stop what I'm doing and sit/stand there with my mouth open for the duration. It's where their true strength ( but possibly not their true passion) seems to live in abundance. I played Suum Cuique 3 times in a row today.
I am genuinely so grateful for this music. Helps me calm down when I feel like I’m going to explode. And wakes me the fuck up when I’m down.
I feel the same way.
Ever listen to Converge?
Have u tried calming down?
The best jazz album ever produced.
Agreed. Love the brushed percussion work.
Not sure about that. Some solos were a bit sloppy, and every song on the album feel a bit too slow to be truly enjoyable.
Maybe not the best but definately one of the best. Almost on Coltrane levels of good.
Why didn't they collaborate with Coltrane in the day?
They like to call themselves funk-fusion

I like admiral angry for this. they were grind but their album is sludgy and has the best grooves.
yeah there slow parts are crushing indeed... longer album with more sludgy stuff i say hehehe Cheers!
agree! their best track ever
It is colossal
Fully agree, it's my favourite track on the album, and Depths was my favourite from Unsilent Death which was also the slower closing track
The guitar riff at 10:12... damn. I wouldn't mind if it lasted a little longer, like, two more rounds...
Play it yourself, I'll play distorted harp.
metalheads be like "nah bro its not megadeathscreamheavycore, it's atmoshitpissgrindsmash, there's a huge difference"

Normies when anything
Nah it's grind with hardcore influence. Mention the HM-2 if you must.
Nah, is just powerviolence, which is gooood;;
normies when there is more than one sub genre of metal when metal has existed for 50 years *pikachu face*
Thanks cavalera for letting me get to know awesome band. Going to check them out at graspop
Suum Cuique is still one of the most beautiful pieces of music to have ever entered my ears.
No Surrender is short but sweet.
