I’m a Fisherman in Tulalip Washington. I love seeing you guys catch more fish in an hour with a pole than I catch in 5 hours with a Set Net! Wow I think it’s time for me to get North with your Lodge there! My Daughter just Blessed us with a Grandson! He’s only 6 months old now but he is going to be with me there when he’s older. God Bless you all with safety and protection and give thanks for the Bounty provided. I Pray 🙏🏼 for EVERY Salmon I catch and feel true respect for the Soul Sacrificed that provides life for many. 😌❤️🖖🏼🇺🇸
That brings back a lot of memories when I went in the early 90's. Learned how to tie their double hook leaders, learned how to cut the bait for motor-mooching, caught a 102.7 LB Halibut on a salmon rod, and I learned what a "greenie" is...not fun!! That place is so amazingly beautiful!!!!
Guys thanks for taking us along our your vacation trip to Alaska. please give us website to where you stay. Looks like a great day on the water. The weather look great for Alaska. See you on the next video.
The lack of subscribers on your channel drives me nutts I don't get it. Sarah, keep up the hard work editing, don't think we don't notice the uptick in the overall quality of Nick's videos !
We just returned from there a couple weeks ago. Stayed in Thorne Bay, the other side of the island. We set crab traps, fly fished the Thorne River. Ate fresh dungeness and fish every night. What an incredible place..
Your B roll footage is next level! Awesome videos guys! Going through and watching every video since I just recently subscribed! Keep it up nick and sassy!
Fished for Halibut and Ling Cod when we went out of Homer a few years ago and loved it and loved the taste of the fish even more!! Great to see you enjoying it as much as we did
@@StanzFam I really appreciate you for being a great person a great father and great husband. My daughter and I always pray for you and your family man. God bless you and your family my friend
Just an absolutely beautiful place to be! I watched all of Deermeat for Dinner’s videos of their trip to Alaska earlier this summer. So many types of fish to catch and such a healthy fish population there. Looked like such a fun trip!
So close to my old stomping grounds in my early 20's living in Vancouver and fishing from Vancouver Island outside of Nanaimo. The lings are very tasty, as are the Dungeness crab, actually anything you can yank out of the water around there is pretty good eats! Looking forward to your next episode!!
I’m been watching your videos in a while and I live in Alaska and the best time to fish in Alaska is in June or July and you should come to Alaska again next year since some small communities like Angoon,Alaska and Yakutat and other communities have charters to catch halibut or salmon
I have been fortunate enough to have been to Alaska many times and have done some amazing fishing. I have sprayed and fished out of the same lodge. Alaska is a magical place if I was young again I would definitely live there. I also fish out of Bud and Mary's when I go to the Keyes next time I am going to try and book Nick.
OMG!!! Nick, you've left the comfort of Islamorada! I'm shocked. Great trip, buddy. Awesome fishing. I think you'll find halibut as good or better than anything you catch in FL. Should have brought Bean with you. HAHAHA!
Next time I recommend you bringing a head GoPro or chest Mount that way you can go we're about holding the camera in your hands so you can fish and do everything else that everybody else is doing instead of reeling with the wrong hand LMAO still love you Stan's fam just got to prep a little bit better before you go out fishing knowing that you're going to Alaska in the fishing is so awesome
Capt. Nick, did you tell them that you needed a Hooker Electric Reel to really be able fish. Also looks like the mullet is keeping your neck from getting sunburned.

Wait so they don't let you keep the big halibut anymore?
If you’re on a charter 40” was max size this year. Unless you purchase quota from commercial boats (which we did wind up having one tag per boat)
Catching that many fish on a half day charter says a-lot for the fishery and the conservation measures.
