I think agencies or people who search of potential idols, they have a very very amazing talent to read people and find a potential within those kids. Especially about personality because later on they have to make a perfect and dinamic group with certain talent and peesonality.
That reminds me of Nizi Project; "star nature" was one of the elements JYP was looking for. I recall that Ayaka was definitely not the best dancer or singer, but she had that charming energy (+ pretty appearance, let's be honest) that landed her a spot in NiziU
such a GREAT advice, and even if u r not confident, collect yourself and look confident, that's the good part about confidence, people can't always tell when you're not confident so they will most likely buy it even if u fake it
