IDK Where to begin!! I thought this video title was spam at first. NOT sure everyone who watches this understands JUST how significant THIS is! A VIDEO of Real, B-2 in flight. 1 pilot not 2. Whiteman ramp/flight line of the B-2 & associated security teams protecting a highly classified National asset and nuclear weapons. My Man is 1 incredibly privileged individual. To the best of my knowledge is also THE first media related person to not only fly inside of a B-2 also recieve permission to document the process. Another HUGE part of all this is the spotlight placed on the maintainers can NOT be emphasized enough!! It truly takes a team & I love how you said that they are ALL HERO'S!!! The pilots do recieve the glory, this ground shattering video will hopefully serve to educate people that the maintainers of all Military aircraft and especially low observable (or "stealth") aircraft is one of the most dedicated and hard working teams in our Military that does not often get quite all the credit they deserve. ALL Our Men & Women of Our Armed Forces are Hero's that work their butt's off for Our Nation & Our safety. America NEEDS THIS video right now!!! Hats off to you Sir! IDK HOW you pulled this off! Congratulations! Someone correct me if I'm wrong I do not believe this has ever been done before?

During my time, he was then, commander of the 509th Operations Support Squadron. The only time that I've ever seen one was on 9/11 flying over Dallas, hours after the towers had fallen. America was in shock and there was an eerie silence throughout and while I sat outside a coffee shop w/ a friend and talked, it was just by chance that I'd looked up and saw the bird making its way across the metroplex. What a masterpiece of a plane.

My dad was a B-17 pilot during WW II and was shot down over Germany on July 26, 1943 and spent the rest of the war as a POW. After the war, he stayed in the Air Force and in the early 1950's we were assigned to Sedalia AFB, MO which had been closed after WW II and was closed and now being reopened. But all it had was old WW II wooden barracks and it was in disrepair. Also all it had were old WW II bombers like the B-25 which my dad flew to keep up his flight hours. There was no on-base housing so my dad rented a farm just outside of the main gate. The main gate looked like an outhouse with two guards that were like the sheriff of Mayberry and his deputy. Little did we know that Sedalia AFB was to become one of the first B-47 bases. I remember the day when all of the WW II B-25's took off and the new B-47's landed. It was a huge ceremony. As a kid, the B-47 was so advanced with jet engines that it looked like alien spaceships landing. I can remember it now like it was the day it happened. My dad went to B-47 school and flew the B-47 for a while until the B-52 came along and he then flew the B-52's during the Cold War. At some point Sedalia AFB became Whiteman AFB which is now the home of the B-2. I often wonder how many know the history of how Sedalia AFB became a post war B-25 base and then a B-47 base, and then changed to Whiteman AFB with the B-2. I'm so glad hat I was able to see a dilapidated post WW II base transitioned into the world's more advanced stealth bomber base. I was there when all first happened and we lived in essentially and abandoned farm house, there were no recreations on base. The movie theater was a in a wooden barrack with folding metal chairs and a pull down screen on a tripod and showing 16 mm gun camera films from WW II. Today it is the home of the most advanced stealth bomber in the world. I'm proud that as a kid and as my dad we were there at the very beginning. BTW, I had the best parents any kid could hope to have. I really miss them.
what a great video to see the people involved in flying the stealth and what it takes to make all go right for each flight So proud of all involved in this mission.....
My dad was a maintenance squadron commander on b-2s at Whiteman in early 2010's. Had the chance to go into the cockpit one time. It's my favorite flyover at Arrowhead.
Wow what an awesome video, I was lucky enough to video & photograph 2 of them landing during the Golden hour back in 2019 at RAF Fairford, while they were on deployment in the UK. An amazing aircraft to see in person, the images are probably some of my favourite images, I've captured, over the years, of military aircraft.
My service in the Air Force 1967-1971 as a Security Policeman involved archaic fighters like the F100 D at RAF Lakenheath. I cannot say I miss it, but seeing the New technology, mission and sophistication to detail, I wish I could experience today’s mission. For now I will just be content enjoying this video. Thank you for it and to all my Air Force Security Police, ground crews, Techs, Pilots and officers thank you for your service. God bless you all. Ssgt. Robert B. Cocciardi.

So..... Incredibly..... Jealous!!! One of my favorite aircraft!! It was awesome to finally see what the flight deck looks like! I've looked online for pictures of it many many times, but I don't know what is real or fake. Thank you and the military for finally showing some of it!!! Absolutely amazing
No idea how you gained this level of access but what an awesome video. Your comment "truly a sobering thought" drives home the entire reason this machine and all the individuals keeping it in the air exist in the first place.
I’m a journalist and this is a Newsweek (news outlet) show, which I host and produce. Our access is very different than some person off the street. Glad you liked it, check out our B-52 and other episodes and make sure you’re subscribed for 2024!
I lived in Knob Noster for 6 months working on base doing repairs and upkeep on the exterior of the military housing, it was truly an amazing experience seeing the b-2 fly patterns around base and even over my apartment, I really miss my time there really hope to go back!
Agreed and so glad the Airforce let everyone have another peek behind the curtain just a little bit more, I’m all for keeping things under wrap when it comes to aircraft such as this.
That was one of the coolest videos I have ever seen on utube thank you and thanks to the air force I’m am so proud to be American and happy the b2 is on our side
Few years ago one of these was doing circles quite literally above my house because it was early for Fairford airshow. It was being escorted by several jets, I recall about 5 or more? And it just stayed there circling for a while. It was incredible seeing one of the most secret and amazing planes every just circling around. Above my house. I am always amazed at how eagle-looking it is, especially from the side. And the no-tailwing design looks so sleek. Only one fatal error: turning.
This is one of the most significant military aircraft videos I have ever seen. Thank you for taking us on a ride. It was my childhood dream to fly in one. I have the next best thing. A Radio Control B2 Stealth Bomber with Twin Turbines. Now I can add more scale details to my B2 Stealth Bomber because of this video. This is incredible! Thanks again!
I've always loved the name spirit for the b-2, lots of people think of it as a positive like "Spirit of America" I look at it as a haunting spirit, it haunts you, you can't see it, but you know it's around and will dang sure feel the effects from it if its pissed at you.
It’s both! Btw, when you fly in a B-2 you’re given a Spirit Number that is the next in sequence. Mine is 820, meaning I was the 820th person to fly in a B-2.
One thing that I can never seem to wrap my mind around, is how small the thing looks when up close. It looks huge from a little bit of distance, due to the wing real estate, but the actual body just does not look like it can carry very much compared to a B52 or even a B-1B. It must be like a TARDIS in there somehow lol
I used to think that the SR-71 was the coolest looking plane in the world, but the B2 may have tied it. I saw one banking on a final approach one time, and all you could see was a dark gray line in the sky - amazing! 😎
Saw it at an airshow. If they don't tell you where to look, it is just a line. Silent, on the ground. Awesome in every sense, especially fear. It can destroy you, without any warning.

THE sexiest, most beautiful and most deadly aircraft ever made. The way it takes off and the way it lands just looks so smooth, it doesn't even tilt. It is just a work of deadly art. Thanks for this video.
Always has been my favorite of our aircraft, the beloved B-2.Thank you so much for this great video! An incredible perspective into the now second most secret bomber in our country's arsenal.
Thank you so much Naveed for this intimate look at the awesome B-2.I,m sure these were the cause of numerous UFO sightings in the eighties as they look so other worldly. There was a well documented account of USAF personnel at an air base in Suffolk England seeing a triangular shaped craft at night ,its outline illuminated.👍👍👍
Everything is so great surrounding this video! The B-2 itself, the opportunity to fly in it and the overall quality of the production, you and the Air Force nailed it!
We lived at Whiteman from 1963 until 1970, I went from 4th grade to 10th grade in Knob Noster...It was a B-47 base when we first arrived there, then converted to the Minuteman Missile. We lived at 703 Post Drive, up on a hill, and watched them dig the hole, then build, the command capsule for the missiles. Our Dad was the NCOIC of the re-entry vehicle area ( bomb storage). We also had a rotation of B-58's (4-Ship) that sat alert for a week at a time. Their arrival and departure was really something to see....those were the days...
I used to live just north of McConnell AFB in Wichita. Saw the B-52s, the B-1B and the B-2 fly out of there over the years. At one time, I had coworker and a neighbor who were refueling boom operators on the KC-135. Enjoyed the video, Naveed. Looking forward to more of your work.
The black ice tree freshner made me smile. It looks so cute dangling up there in an extremely advanced and highly classified B-2 cockpit compared to it's usual location on a rear view mirror of a car or truck. I actually thought to myself "awwww" lol
What an opportunity Spirit 820, nice work loved the shots from the camera ship (T38). By coincidence the Spirit of America left the UK today for Whiteman and I was there to see it leave and film it take-off📹but no behind the scenes access for me!
Very secretive stuff. This tells a lot why no other country on earth has a replica of a B-2 Bomber. Thank You to all the Hard Working Service members and engineers for such an outstanding job of serving this great Nation of US of A🇺🇸🇺🇸
It's also because it cost 2 billion dollars per plane. You had 20 of them so 40 billion dollars that's more than 95 percent of most other nations yearly military budget
Growing up, there were only a handful pictures of the B2 open to the public and I collected every single one I could find out of magazines and books. The thought of letting a reporter near this type was basically unthinkable, let alone flying in one, it had this aura of mystery to it and to this day just looks awe inspiring, especially considering what its mission profiles look like. This video was am amazing insight into all the work that goes into making it fly and the interesting people behind it, thanks for your efforts!

About 2 years ago I was driving south on interstate 15 just coming into Las Vegas when all of a sudden I see 4 of them leaving Nellis AFB to go play in the Nevada desert. Talk about intimidating!!!
What a truly amazing aircraft and what an absolute privilege to be allowed up in it. The US certainly know how to design and build planes........this and the SR-71!
About 10 years ago I was working in the backyard of a house in Concord California (not far from Buchanan Field) in early October when I heard a unusually loud jet. I looked up and saw a B2 flying overhead. I realized then that it was Fleet-Week over in San Francisco and the plane was probably heading over to Travis AFB after performing a fly-by as part of the air-show in SF. I wish that someone was there with me to tell them to look up. I didn't realize that there were only 20 of these. They are pretty incredible to see in the sky, particularly when you have no advance warning.

Any better appreciation for what it takes to manage a 30 hour mission?
Can there be multiple pilots on board for a mission lasting over 12 hours?
Bumpy ride or smooth? How was visibility out of it? Doesn’t look great.

What an amazing story! Thanks for sharing.
what a great video to see the people involved in flying the stealth and what it takes to make all go right for each flight So proud of all involved in this mission.....
My dad was a maintenance squadron commander on b-2s at Whiteman in early 2010's. Had the chance to go into the cockpit one time. It's my favorite flyover at Arrowhead.
Great video, and it's great how the maintainers and loaders get some love in each episode
Really important to show America that these birds won’t fly without the support of a literal army of people.
This won't take long before this channel goes ballistic. Great story, well told. Good production and editing.
Fingers crossed!
As long as it's the digital version of ballistic :-)
I hate if it turns into the other kind considering what the primary mission of the B2 is....
I think it might take that long
Wow what an awesome video, I was lucky enough to video & photograph 2 of them landing during the Golden hour back in 2019 at RAF Fairford, while they were on deployment in the UK.
An amazing aircraft to see in person, the images are probably some of my favourite images, I've captured, over the years, of military aircraft.
SINGLE PILOT DEMO! - AMAZING! 👍👍👍🌏🔥🔥🔥🔥🌎
Ssgt. Robert B. Cocciardi.
Aww ty! And thank you for your service! Stay tuned for the ICBM episode!
This is absolutely an incredible documentary. Jaw dropping, well done.
Ty but it’s not a documentary, it’s one episode of my show ;) Make sure you subscribe and check out the other episodes, including the Q&A! th-cam.com/video/S5PFlLfV624/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tvzLzLjE-j1TIHKC
Wow this was incredible, thank you for sharing this amazing experience!
So..... Incredibly..... Jealous!!! One of my favorite aircraft!! It was awesome to finally see what the flight deck looks like! I've looked online for pictures of it many many times, but I don't know what is real or fake. Thank you and the military for finally showing some of it!!! Absolutely amazing
I can’t even say how shocked I am that they even let you film anything with this plane let alone go on a ride inside of it. You are living the dream.
It was approved by the White House. I’m a journalist and a former Intel guy, those two things give me pretty unique access.
I enjoyed the couple years that I worked on them. Happy to see my fellow 2W1's getting some love in the video!
Right on!
Im Quite Surprised They Let Him Film Inside The Cockpit As far as i know this is the first and only public footage from inside a B2 Spirit Cockpit
This is the second time, but it’s the most in-depth we’ve seen of the B-2.
Agreed and so glad the Airforce let everyone have another peek behind the curtain just a little bit more, I’m all for keeping things under wrap when it comes to aircraft such as this.
Believe me they didn’t show a couple things tho😅😅
That was one of the coolest videos I have ever seen on utube thank you and thanks to the air force I’m am so proud to be American and happy the b2 is on our side
It was an honor to be entrusted to tell the story of the B-2
The design of this aircraft will never look average. It always looks amazing. Thanks for sharing and congrats on the flight experience.
Couldn't agree more! Thanks for the words, please make sure you subscribe.
It is an amazing looking aircraft and a marvel of engineering. Thanks and make sure you’re subscribed!
Awww! That’s so kind. I’m so glad we can share it with you! The B-2
is awesome but it’s nothing without the airmen who make it all work!
The car air freshener (Black Ice ... nice pun) hanging up above the cockpit was a great touch.
Amazing! Well done

10/10...The whole crew(s) contributed..
Got to love the Magic Tree air fresheners hanging from the "rear view mirror" at 13:48
One thing that I can never seem to wrap my mind around, is how small the thing looks when up close. It looks huge from a little bit of distance, due to the wing real estate, but the actual body just does not look like it can carry very much compared to a B52 or even a B-1B. It must be like a TARDIS in there somehow lol
It really is true. The jet is massive but from certain angles flying, it disappears until it banks.
Dang i worked in it ,& on it in flight test for 30+ years....would have love to get a ride in one. Loved that program. I miss it.
Salute 2 the air force! My uncle used 2 work on that plane.
Very 😎😎😎thanks for the comment! Make sure you’re subscribed and check out our other videos!
This has to be the first journalist to do this in the B2......
Not the first
Who's the first then? 🤔

THE sexiest, most beautiful and most deadly aircraft ever made. The way it takes off and the way it lands just looks so smooth, it doesn't even tilt. It is just a work of deadly art. Thanks for this video.
Glad you liked it!!
I live in the Kansas City area. We see B-2s all the time. The dumb joke is "aren't they supposed to be invisible?"
😀😀😀
I love how this plane looks. Even though this is just a video I can feel the stability of this plane. Amazing.
Seeing an F18 and hearing it's sonic boom made my knees quake, some years back. This craft might've dropped me. Awesome respect for this access.
How is it possible to have a cooler day than that in your life? You reached the top bro
Hahaha…stay tuned! Make sure you’re subscribed!
Wow what lucky guy, I got to see this plane once in Palmdale and such a mesmerizing piece of equipment, love the video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Incredible video, thanks for sharing
Quote from a movie , “Fighter pilots make movies, bomber pilots make history.” Couldn’t be anymore applicable to the B2 pilots .
Most Epic. Thanks For giving us the chance to see That ! I Love Fighter Aircraft, I've never got the chance to see an actual B-2
Ty! Please check out our other videos and make sure you subscribe!
Always has been my favorite of our aircraft, the beloved B-2.Thank you so much for this great video! An incredible perspective into the now second most secret bomber in our country's arsenal.
Ty for the kind words.
What a beautiful bird.
GOD bless the USA. I’m a proud American.
Proud to serve!
I often think that too! Ty for the kind words!
Everything is so great surrounding this video! The B-2 itself, the opportunity to fly in it and the overall quality of the production, you and the Air Force nailed it!
Ty! Please make sure you’re subscribed and check out the B-2 Q&A and our B-52 video.
@@Unconventional-Newsweek Thanks for the heads up! The B-52 is one of my favs too, I'll watch it!
im from sweden but B2 bombers are so dope
they are incredibly beatiful aircraft
We lived at Whiteman from 1963 until 1970, I went from 4th grade to 10th grade in Knob Noster...It was a B-47 base when we first arrived there, then converted to the Minuteman Missile. We lived at 703 Post Drive, up on a hill, and watched them dig the hole, then build, the command capsule for the missiles. Our Dad was the NCOIC of the re-entry vehicle area ( bomb storage). We also had a rotation of B-58's (4-Ship) that sat alert for a week at a time. Their arrival and departure was really something to see....those were the days...
I can't believe these B-2s are already 30 years old. Also crazy the B-52 will outlive the B-2 and B-1.
Make sure you check out my B-52 video! I flew 7hrs in one! Also pls subscribe to the channel so we can keep bringing you more unique content!
@@Unconventional-Newsweek oh nice! and subbed
Ty!! Make sure you check out the B-52 video and your subscribed! Can’t wait to film in Feb!
Getting to fly on a B-2 as a civilian is something I never expected... of course you're no regular civilian and likely still have clearance lol
🕵️♂️🕵️♂️🕵️♂️🕵️♂️
@@Unconventional-Newsweek thanks for the video, very cool stuff
This is a great video! Learned a lot about the B-2 and gives a cool look into some of the info behind it. Love it!
Glad you like it!
I saw one of these awesome planes coming out of Edwards Base in Southern California a couple of years ago doing a bank turn! Wow, awesome sight!
Great Job!! Congratulation
Ty!
Great feature! Thank you very much for acknowledging the mission generators for their important role in keeping the B-2 flying. They are also heroes.
Yes they are! Please make sure you subscribe, so we can keep bringing this content!!
The best part was the air freshener in the B2 😂
The black ice tree freshner made me smile. It looks so cute dangling up there in an extremely advanced and highly classified B-2 cockpit compared to it's usual location on a rear view mirror of a car or truck. I actually thought to myself "awwww" lol
Wish I could show you the font on the displays! Thanks for watching! Make sure you’re subscribed!!
Great video! Thanks for showing us KC-135 folks some love!
So cool to be able to show all the people that keep this amazing jet in the air. Also love the 135!
The Christmas Tree air fresheners are a nice touch in the cockpit.
Thanks to CW Lemoine for letting us know about this
Big thanks to Mover!
@@Unconventional-Newsweekgo on his show for an interview
Peace through strength.
To be fair I’m not just any reporter. I held a TS/SCI and understand handeling classified info. Make sure you’re subscribed and check out our other videos.
@@Unconventional-Newsweek thanks for the context, already subbed.
Didn't want to question your background or qualifications, I was just amazed by the insights you were able to share with regular folk on TH-cam. :)
Incredible. One of the greatest machines humans have ever built.

Imagine you live oustide of USA, and you see this in the sky.
Just saw a few flying around in Australia!
What a beautiful aircraft I remember seeing one flying at the Airshow in Beaufort SC
Here from Mover's channel again.
Mover and Gonky ftw
Same. Love that channel.
Thanks Naveed for taking us along on this incredible look at the B-2. As an AF vet I am incredibily jealous😀. Keep covering other AF aircraft.
You can count on that!
I can imagine all the hoops to go through just to record in one 😂
Amazing! And for such young people to be there and bearing the responsibility is incredible
This is true! These young people are amazing.
Was an IT contractor for NG (ESID at Hawthorne Airport) - the last contractor out the building before they shutdown.
Really interesting navigation system the B-2 has.
One memory was that ALL the NG staff were really great to work with. They all individually and collectively took their jobs very seriously.
It’s amazing how many people were involved in B-2 and the sense of pride you all have working on this amazing bird. Ty! Please make sure you’re subscribed!
Is the AIR FRESHNER at 12:59 cleared?
We can neither confirm nor deny the presence of any air fresheners 🕵️♂️
About 2 years ago I was driving south on interstate 15 just coming into Las Vegas when all of a sudden I see 4 of them leaving Nellis AFB to go play in the Nevada desert. Talk about intimidating!!!
80’s technology. Just imagine what’s on the drawing board. Or perhaps already in the air.
Interesting seeing Christmas decorations up - that shot alone during the weather check really humanizes the military in a good way
Great video. Incredible attention to detail. Well done - great work!
TY ❤️
What a truly amazing aircraft and what an absolute privilege to be allowed up in it.
The US certainly know how to design and build planes........this and the SR-71!
Still pinching myself…wait till you see the ICBM episode! Make

What an incredible opportunity. And thanks for the video.
I have a stealth bomber jacket... somewhere.
Ty!
