"Tequila Makes her Clothes Fall Off" is a good one on the comical side but I also recommend "The Impossible" and "I'll Wait for You" as good ones and "Gimme that Girl" as well.
Yeah, enough with the "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" suggestions. 🙄 I'm aggravated that most people only check out that song, instead of the next two songs that you mentioned.
Joe Nichols never took off the way he should have in my opinion. He did have several big songs but with a voice like that and look like that, he should’ve been a superstar. You should listen to his song “Another Side Of You” and watch it with your wife. Beautiful song.
“If Nobody Believed In You” is such a good song from Joe Nichols. Among many others. He was big when I was in my early 20s so his songs bring back a lot of memories. Thanks for this, Seb. Great reaction! Much love❤️
You will love Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off. The song and the video are hilarious!! Also, his debut single is a very beautiful and touching song called The Impossible and I’m pretty sure he wrote the song after his dad passed away. He has a true country voice and many good songs. I met him in my uncle’s club in Nashville in the early 2000s when he first started his career. He used to come in there frequently before he blew up. He was a lot of fun to be around and seemed like a great guy. My uncle used to joke with him and tell him he looked too much like a Calvin Klein model to be a country music singer 😂
I saw Joe Nichols when he was on tour with Toby Keith at Red Rocks. This guy next to me was with some of his friends and I hear him say "Joe Nichols is HOT", then I hear "wait, what did say?" We all laughed with him. It was a great show. So glad you are discovering the best of country. I love having my own memories renewed too.
Songwriting is a industry in Nashville. People are signed for writing deals and it’s a full time job. They come to “the office” and write songs all day. When MTV bought CMT in the early 2000s, they wanted to remove the songwriter label on all of the videos. It was 1) song title 2) performing artist 3) songwriter(s) 4) music label. There was a big dust-up and the songwriters won. My second cousin is a huge country hit maker and the royalty checks she gets are crazy big.
"Glass" is clever wordplay, given the situation and that they're drinking. That was part of the hook for people. Saying the actual word would be too on the nose.
This was my favorite song when it first came out. I went to a country music festival with top artists and Joe had to play on a side stage during breaks. He's come a long way.
Here's to the past - they can kiss my glass! One of my favourite lines in country music. Tequila Makes her Clothes Fall off is a MUST. Official video pretty please - for the hilarity - and the visual.
When you get a chance checkout Faren Young, I'm a baby boomer, mom always had the radio on in the kitchen, she was the backup singer left at my house! Blessed. I'm 60 now and 1 my all time favs, "Skip a rope" can't remember that guy, one of mom's favorite. Ronnie Milsap's, lost in the 50's, was patents song to each other, I watched dad sing that to mom behind the wall, I am a blessed daughter!
They were masters in the studio, they would audition studio musicians one after another, for one solo, they all were the one, then finally ole boy showed up. Kid Charlemagne tell the story of legendary LSD Wizard chemist, Augustus, Owsley, Stanley III also the Grateful Dead sound man, main creator of the Wall of Sound, one of the fathers of modern concert sound. Cool tune.
He has so many good songs as a lot of others have mentioned. He also has a Baby Got Back remix and Sir-Mix-A-Lot is in the music video. Joe Nichols is on Apple Music.
Fabulous voice! Must watch Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off. Official video has his Grandma in it …naked. Impossible is a great song. My favorite Joe song is If Nobody Believed in You.
Joe Nichols has some great songs, he's one of the few of the newer country singers I don't classify as pop, or wannabe country, which I cannot tolerate. My favorite of his is “What's a Guy Gotta Do", great song, “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off", is another great one.
Thats the real lyrics, I think to get around censorship because he's talking about being in a bar and drinking his love away....they can kiss his whiskey glass....still implies the same but keeps it clean and avoids censorship issues
No its not thr clean version, he just doesn't use language in his songs. If you're a merle haggard fan, check out joe doing "the way i am", sounds JUST like merle
"Tequila Makes her Clothes Fall Off" is a good one on the comical side but I also recommend "The Impossible" and "I'll Wait for You" as good ones and "Gimme that Girl" as well.
Have to do official music video if you do tequila makers her clothes fall off 🤣
@@AmandaSmith-zr8mn Exactly!
Yeah, enough with the "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" suggestions. 🙄
I'm aggravated that most people only check out that song, instead of the next two songs that you mentioned.
@amy I second that!
@Amanda Definitely must be the official video!!
No censored, these are the true lyrics
Two songs that are a MUST by him:
• I'll Wait For You
• If Nobody Believed In You
Joe Nichols never took off the way he should have in my opinion. He did have several big songs but with a voice like that and look like that, he should’ve been a superstar. You should listen to his song “Another Side Of You” and watch it with your wife. Beautiful song.
This isn’t censored. The song is just clever with word play
“The Impossible” and “If Nobody Believed In You” 🧡
Thats just how it was written.
Tequila makes her close fall off MV is a MUST!
Seen him live in a small spot in SD...One of the best shows I've been to. He's so underrated. In my eyes, GOAT of Country music.
Listen to his song I'll Wait for You. It's wholesome yet heartbreaking at the same time
The Impossible and If Nobody Believed In You are 2 songs by him I'm sure you would love!! They both have a great message in them!
“If nobody believed in you” by him is a must
My favorite songs by Joe Nichols are The Impossible, If Nobody Believed in You, What's a Guy Gotta Do, and Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off.
I've seen Joe in concert twice, he is awesome and truly is Real Country hands down!!!!
“If Nobody Believed In You” is such a good song from Joe Nichols. Among many others. He was big when I was in my early 20s so his songs bring back a lot of memories. Thanks for this, Seb. Great reaction! Much love❤️

Awww thank you thank thank you. I LOVE Joe Nichols. He is true country for sure. His voice is so great. He needs more love! THANK YOU.
The Impossible!! ❤️❤️❤️
Joe is one of those singers that just faded away. That's a shame
Agree…I really enjoyed him. I heard he battled addiction after the death of his father. I hope he found happiness and is well.
I saw Joe Nichols when he was on tour with Toby Keith at Red Rocks. This guy next to me was with some of his friends and I hear him say "Joe Nichols is HOT", then I hear "wait, what did say?" We all laughed with him. It was a great show.

This is the song that made me a fan. Wish he was still putting music out on broadcast radio.
A first for me too. His voice kinda reminds me of Randy Travis.
"Glass" is clever wordplay, given the situation and that they're drinking. That was part of the hook for people.
Saying the actual word would be too on the nose.
You should check out Martina Mcbride "concrete angle " it's really good but emotional
This is one of my favorite songs ever. LOVE his voice
This was my favorite song when it first came out. I went to a country music festival with top artists and Joe had to play on a side stage during breaks. He's come a long way.

One of Joe's best is "Believers". I recommend it!

Trent Tomlinson....One Wing in the Fire. Great lyrics and I think you will be surprised by his look vs. his voice
That's the original lyrics. He's a Christian. Check out his song The Impossible.
I would recommend "Old Friend of Mine". It's related to him moving past his drinking. Bravo.
If nobody believed in you is also a good one by him.
I’ve always loved this song. Check out The Impossible, it makes me cry every single time.
Lots of songs substitute another word for a curse word like that, although many times in concerts they may change the lyrics and use the word.
This one is in my top 5 country songs of all time
They were masters in the studio, they would audition studio musicians one after another, for one solo, they all were the one, then finally ole boy showed up.
Kid Charlemagne tell the story of legendary LSD Wizard chemist, Augustus, Owsley, Stanley III also the Grateful Dead sound man, main creator of the Wall of Sound, one of the fathers of modern concert sound.
Cool tune.
The impossible is one you should definitely checkout. I still get chills with this song.
Great song. Another one I like with a similar message is Drinking Problem by Midland.
I saw him live and when he got to that line, he said they can kiss msy ASS!! Everyone there was screaming like hell. Great show
These are the actual lyrics. Love this song.
He has so many good songs as a lot of others have mentioned. He also has a Baby Got Back remix and Sir-Mix-A-Lot is in the music video. Joe Nichols is on Apple Music.
He is coming to Draper Days on July 20th free concert at Draper Park. Food trucks, Fireworks and tons of fun. You and your family should check it out.

Joe is very good live. I saw him in the early 2000s opening for Alan Jackson. Then again 2 years ago as a headliner.
He's voice is beautiful....look at "The Impossible"
Wish That Wasn't All is a deep cut from Joe Nichols that I never see anyone mention. It's my cry song. 🥺
Man you'd love his song Revelation. It'll give you chills.
Arkansas’ own! Listen to Gimmie that girl! Good love song
this came out when i was 9! i would be singing as loud as possible 🤣
Actual lyrics. Just good clean country.
I loved "she only smokes when she drinks".
Joe Nichols is great , no one has mentioned "Revelation" . More people need to hear it .
His funniest song//video is 'tequila makes her clothes fall off'.
You should check out "the impossible" great song of overcoming the odds
I saw Joe Nichols when he first came out. He was opening for Alan Jackson.
Joe is great ..like to see a comeback..
No, those are the real lyrics. No words were changed
Watch Shane Yellowbird " Pickup Truck". Very talented First Nation Canadian artist. He sadly passed away too soon.
Joe Nichols is on Spotify!
Back in the day, Country radio wouldn't play songs with cursing in them. There had to be a radio version. Live, he probably doesn't say glass. Lol
He has many good tunes!
She Only Smokes When She Drinks is my favorite!
I've always thought he could sing and he is easy on the eyes!
What's a guy gotta do? , I'll wait for you , Tequila makes her clothes fall off. You should listen to them all
Always been "glass"
This one always makes me laugh. It's a breakup song, but it's SO much fun to sing!
It was kiss my glass in the original lyrics. He
Joe Nichols has a fabulous voice....
Joe Nichols is on Spotify I have him on my playlist on there.
Thats the real lyrics, I think to get around censorship because he's talking about being in a bar and drinking his love away....they can kiss his whiskey glass....still implies the same but keeps it clean and avoids censorship issues
It's clever wordsmanship, not censorship.
Joe's Place is another cool song by him.
You should check out "Don't take the girl" by Tim McGraw.❤
I had no issues pulling him up on Spotify. Maybe a temporary glitch.
He is on spotify, not sure why it isn't popping up for you 🤔
Listen to somewhere sunny and 75
Joe really does have one of the best voices in country. You should hear him cover Keith Whitley. Billy Graham’s Bible is another good song.
Not censored…intended lyric. He is pretty good.
"Kiss My Glass" is the original lyric. Not censored.
He was drinking her away. So he’s talking about kissing his glass
Waylon Jennings "America"
You need to listen to Joe Nichols, sing "AN OLD FRIEND OF MINE" a song that deal's with his addiction's very good song. Try it please!!
React to George Strait "I Cross My Heart" Please
He was saying they can kiss his shot glass He's drinking his problems away
I also struggle with addiction. I need help. Please pray for me.
Yes Joe Nichols. Take me back to Tampa. Joe come back to us. tas
No its not thr clean version, he just doesn't use language in his songs. If you're a merle haggard fan, check out joe doing "the way i am", sounds JUST like merle
Joe is one of the last traditional country singers left. These new ones getting out there now are just trying to ride that pop country backlash.
He's the modern George Strait!
You need to listen to Joe Nichols, sing a song called "A FRIEND OF MINE" great song. Thanks
Please react Joe Nichols song “Gimme That Girl”
I had a buddy who changed the lyrics when he sang it at karaoke to “I hope she hates sex with him” 😂😂😂
