    The gas situation reminds me of the scene in "Its a wonderful life" when there is a run on the banks and Jimmy Stewart has to use his own money. One customer wants all his money and another just wants enough to get her by. Just take what you need people!

    Really like the info your podcasts provide. We watch them on TH-cam and have a suggestion - we would like to see a few more pictures of what you are talking about especially for a campground like the James Island Campground. THX for considering this suggestion.

    I always look forward to your videos and recommend them to camping friends. We have visited St James many times over! We love the park and we don’t have small children. We love the dog park, they have a large and small dog parks. This campground also has cabin rentals. Your campingground pass also gets you into the Foley Island Beach Park. Yes, the park can get crowded with a one lane in one lane out but it’s worth it. Our daughter had a destination wedding on this beach, July 2020, yes during the pandemic! It was the best time ever! We live in southwest Ohio, the drive is totally worth it! Again, I look forward to your videos. Keep up the great work.

    Combo washer/dryer is a game changer. Ours did not come with the hookups but we found a spot where we were able to make it work.

    • @RVMiles
      @RVMiles  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad to hear a pro for the combo. Mind if I ask what your total start to finish time is on one load? Thanks! -Abby

    • @altraynorea2170
      @altraynorea2170 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RVMiles Not at all. I think it is about an hour for the wash and 80-90 minutes for the dry. I will try to remember to time it next load we do and update you.

    • @altraynorea2170
      @altraynorea2170 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RVMiles Looks like we are right around 2.5 hours start to finish for washing and drying our average load. A single express wash only can be as short as 35 minutes. Hope that helps.

    James island and Charleston is our favorite campground. We camp there every Christmas. The dog park is fabulous and the Christmas celebration and light display is beyond compare. It's so close to my favorite city. We always make a reservation on the pull through loop which is very private.

    We have been using a small portable Toto bidet with our travel trailer. What brand/model do you have mounted for your RV? "Wash, Don't Wipe" is our motto since living in Japan for a few years a while back.

      @@RVMiles I chuckled at your comment about the skinny roads around the park. Been there done that. The live oaks growing right out into the road at several points make for quite an adventure.

    It’s another great video, guys! I am hoping to visit the Charleston area this coming winter and it was nice to hear from you about St. James Island park. Though, I won’t be staying there....after hearing the rate! Retiree on a shoestring budget so looking for affordable alternatives. And I am tent camping at that! Hope I won’t need that “luxurious” air conditioner while I’m there! 😉

    Hey folks great site. On the topic of another vid, with respect to General RV. Whereby they alter loan schedule or are alleged to do so. I was watching a Lawyers blog and this company was the topic. He indicated that the Utah dept of transportation has opened a fraud investigation into this Co.
    Not sure if you are aware of this but it can be found on “Lehto’s law” by Steve Lehto who is an Attorney.
    Just an FYI in the event you weren’t aware.

    If you go short try to get them to cut it at least 10" long in bundles, then you can donate it to locks of love so it can be made into a wig for child cancer survivors! Mine has grown out 9.5" since the start of Covid and I'm waiting a few more weeks so I can donate mine.

    Sorry for the double posts.. a couple things. the people in this area are fanatics about the trees. The power company was needing to trim back branches and the people were in a uproar. The company had to hire a tree SPECIALISTS before they could trim. My thought is either the trees get trimmed back or you lose power when hurricane type storms come in, but nope they don't care. The gas shortages here in this area were not caused by the pipeline, but again the people. The Charleston area gets their fuel from SHIPS, not pipelines.

    Ice makers are for mixed adult beverages. Retired LE, boardering on a problem - ice makers are a must. If you are drinking a warm rum and coke or what have you - well you might as well be drinking it straight from the bottle - thats just not civilized.

    Loved the answer to the brain teaser Habbit. From last week I mean. Not sure yet what this weeks is. I see why they are brain teasers. 😂 Hope you are feeling better Jason with your being not feeling good. You too Abby. Love what you are doing for your son. That’s so sweet. Can you adopt me as a your child? Lol! Oh our gas prices here are up to $4.00 almost. I have that movie Much to Do About Nothing. Haven’t seen it yet. Well I hope you both have a great week and see you soon! Stay safe and travel safe.

      Disagree. I don’t think their communication style is any out of the ordinary, it’s just their natural way, understanding that this is a Podcast, not a private discussion between a husband and wife.
