For this challenge we Randomized the Pokémon in sword and shield and catch the first 8 Pokémon we see from each different generation! thanks for watching I really appreciate all the support let us know in the comments what else you'd like to see in a challenge!

Pick left or right - left being the first Edition named in their title and right the other one. Boxart legendary only of all Gens.
Lord Helix and Bird Jesus and such were from a pokemon thing that happened years ago on which random people played together pokemon first gen, but everyone was able to send inputs anytime, and every like a second or something the last input someone sended was use. So it was chaotic, until all the players finished the game. I think it took months or years to complete, since anyone could joined any time for whatever amount of time... (i did not google it, this is what i remember, so i could be wrong on the details)
Twitch plays pokemon was incredible
It was specifically on twitchplayspokemon. Lord helix and bird jesus were the saviors of the run, while the false prophet was flareon, who many rallied behind in order to mass release a majority of the strong pokemon that the run had. It's pretty funny how much "lore" arose out of a collective mass of people spamming buttons in chat, but we work with what we've got lol.

Challenge idea: Since Ash just won the pokemon tournament, the challenge is to only be able to catch pokemons that Ash has caught.

In honor of the new games, randomize and catch the first of each of these categories that you get from random encounters:
Fire, water, or grass type (your starter)
Flying type (regional birb)
A Bug type, a Normal type, or an electric mouse (for the first route or for Pikachu)
A red pokemon (for scarlet)
A purple pokemon (for violet)
A legendary (for the box art)
Then fight it out!!!
(Also, quick, to help with the colorblindness, there's a page on Bulbapedia called "List of pokemon by color" that might be helpful!)

Love your guys' videos! One suggestion: it would be nice if you kept a running list of your team on screen to help us remember what each of you have caught. Maybe a small image in the same way you have your Squirtle and Charmander logos on the side.

New challenge idea: catch 9 random pokemon, put in 3 groups and let the other person pick one group for you, them, and skip.
They already did something like this. Its called "We Pick 3 Give 3 and Skip 3" if you want to watch it

Dual Types Double Battle where you and ChillN spin a wheel of types and you can use 3 Skips only on the secondary typing
Future vid idea you should do.
Make your way through the wild areas blindfolded and you have to keep and use whatever you run into. No skips and no evolving.
Only can skip if it's a repeat encounter and even if it's a baby pokemon you still have to use it on your team.
Dupes challenge: catch overworld encounters in pairs, always two of the same mon. One is for you to keep, one is for the opponent. You may skip (for you and opponent).
You will end up with the same team, but different moves and abilities.
Might lead to nice strategies

Here's an idea for you both:
Roll a D6
Whatever the number you must random encounter a Pokémon with something pertaining to that number (E.G. roll a 3 and random encounter a Tauros which you catch because it has 3 tails).

Random abilities
Fully evolved
3 skips
Roll 6 sides die to determine feature of Pokémon to capture

new challenge idea: number each vs video you've done. use a random number generator to select the challenge, then pick what you think is the best pokemon you had in that challenge. then you fight.

You guys should do catching races. You both start at the same point of the wild area where you cant see any wild pokemon yet. Spin a wheel of letters and you guys have to race to find a fully evolved pokemon that starts with that letter. Whoever finds it first gets to keep it for the team and the other one loses a chance to get a team member for that letter

in the first one they got the helix fossil and the fossil ended up being checked/used a lot in the game and they memed it as the player looking for guidance from lord helix.
I commented this challenge back in early 2020 during quarantine.... QuickGG and Chillin ain't slick

For the next vid you could start a random encounter or choose a pokemon to catch and then the other person has to catch a type that would be super effective against the first catched pokemon. Then you switch so the other can choose a pokemon or random encounter and the other has to catch a type thats super effective against it.

Challenge idea: Random 6 pokemon/movesets as well as random 6 abilities (from a generator, etc) But you get to allocate which ability goes to which pokemon on your team! Adds a bit of strategy to the randomness :)
You guys should choose your 6 favorite kaizo ironmon Pokémon from your respective teams and recreate them in showdown and battle each other with them (abilities, moves and stats set to how they were in the randomizer of course)
Y'all get 10-12points. Each pokemon has a point value based on its evolution. 1st evols are 1 point, 2nd are 2, 3rd are 3, and 4th evols and legendaries are 4 points. Make a team with your points.

Vs idea. Catch 1 legend, 1 Mythical, 1 Ultra beast, 1 Psuedo, 1 fully evolved, and 1 no evo Pokémon (I.e. shuckle, tauros) randomized by type. First one you see you gotta catch and you only get two skips.
