Not really. He just didn’t fit the timeline and was eating up a roster spot while not being playable on the defensive side of the ball. He’s going to have a great career if he can stay healthy and defend better though. I’m happy he’s out, because he’ll actually get to develop on a tanking wizards team.
Baldwin definitely needs to work on a lot of things but he's still promising. His defense and athleticism need some work for sure. Maybe it's cause he got injured in the past, but he isn't one to work inside the paint too much. He needs to up his game in the paint and make his 3s more consistent.
