Love this story. Wonderfully read. Read it as a 9 yr old and it spooked me out. Finding the literally dozens and dozens of Wells short science fiction pieces he did mostly in the 1890s is not easy and most contemporary anthologies recycle the same better known ones. Thanks
@@classicaudiobookswithelliot Great! Enjoying the blast effects! Wells still has a motherload of overlooked forgotten speculative fiction to be rediscovered. Some is online. And because of his tireless output and seemingly limitess imagination was for a time the highest paid writer in the world mostly from these series' of stories. Enjoy your further research. Thanks again.
Today iv listen to these all days and did notice am more confident around what people might be talking or what they will say and .ready to chat and listen with them i go around 100 people for a shift
@@classicaudiobookswithelliotthough I disagree with the goblin comment and quite like the voice I do however dislike passive aggression. Why not respond with what the ungrateful ass can do with his time if not be grateful.
It's great to hear a story I haven't heard before!
Thank you.
You’re very welcome, Steve. Thanks for listening!
Decades ago, I read this tale. This is one of Wells' lesser known, but excellent stories. Many thanks, Classic Audiobooks with Elliot.
Great channel. Thanks for your work.
Many thanks John, it’s much appreciated 👍
