Glad to see you riding again. Mine came in last week and I was able to ride a short 17 miles on Sunday. The bike is awesome even though it didn’t come with the front fender. Should be sent soon I hope. Question…. Do you turn on the external battery from the start of your ride or after you deplete the internal battery. I’m not sure the right thing to do.

Thank you. Congrats on the bike. Re battery: you can do it either way. If I am going on a short ride, I will just turn it off and not use it as it will last longer that way. If you plan on going for a longer ride that you would need the battery, you can just leave it on as it will be more efficient that way. The bike will switch from one to the other as you ride automatically. Hope that helps : )

Yes a suspension set post would help , but my seat is a fixed bench seat . Trek sells a riser maybe 2” may help.

ok, I get it. My eb9 is like that. A fun bike, but you are limited to the seat installed. I did see an air filled cushion the other day that was made for motorcycle seats, so that may be an option.

I bought s 21 speed with the thought that if the motors and /or batteries crash it would be nice to ride home in hilly country with the 21 speed.

Yeah, that was kind of my thought as well. But man these bikes are heavy and hard to ride without batteries especially with my back issues. Unless I am real close to home, I call to be rescued LOL. It helps that my driveway is down hill all the way, so if I can make to the driveway I am home free. My Ecotric would just die when it still had 2 bars and left me without juice many times. My Philodo's have never done that, they just slowly remove the power until you are doing most of the work so I know when it is getting low. : )

I love my 20inch bike , but with a trashed spine my bike being a hard tail I’am not sure If I will be able to ride it in the future . I really don’t want to trade it in for a rear suspension bike even though it would probably help . 5:22 your videos really in courage me to keep riding even though sometimes it’s near impossible. Keep it up !

You need to get a suspension seat post, it makes a world of difference. th-cam.com/video/-c-DZdN9JaM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Dl7C1JElktHKzOJL

Interesting you said that, as I think I may have ridden my bike more miles than I drove my car. Bet it was close.
Saturday, was another windy day with gust 40-45 mph, so I didn't bother to try to ride.
    Sunday, rained.
Today, been raining till about a couple of hours ago, so didn't make an effort to ride.

About 3/4 way through the video, it looks like a black gun case in the left lane as you passed a building.

I must have missed it while riding as I usually investigate those things.

Do you have a biking phone app that you like?

No no really, I tried a few and was not impressed. Of course my up close eyesight is not that good, so not being able to see it might have something to do with it ; )

I've had really bad luck with these bikes they never last anymore than a thousand miles before they stop functioning properly and at that point you might as well just throw it away and get a new one

That is a bummer, are you storing outside?
I have had great luck with all of mine.
      Ecotric over 10k miles
      Philodo H8 over 14k miles
Philodo Jumbo, soon to be 19k miles
My girls have rad power bikes with over 8k miles each, so we are really getting our monies worth : ) This summer I was putting over a thousands miles a week, so that would have been real expensive for me, I am glad mine are holding up so well.
