Such lack of faith with the entire family; manipulating when Yah already told them what the future would be. Isaac going against what Yah told Rebecca, and Rebecca deceiving and encouraging her son to go thru with it. Lord have mercy! 😢 Consequences for generations to come...
Always remember that GOD IS IN CONTROL. He allows things to happen his ways and thoughts are not ours. Think about it GOD already knew how everything was going to play out and how Isaac could go against what GOD told Rebecca when. In fact, Isaac had no clue what GOD had told her. So what the narrator said went right over your head when he said it was divine or Esau free will when he gave up his birth rights. ANSWER: it was divine completely from GOD. Remember, he told Rebecca the older son would serve the younger. GOD had already chosen Jacob, aka Israel, for his mission, not Esau.
Esau’s burning desire for revenge consumed him. Could forgiveness ever be enough to heal such a deep betrayal between brothers? What would you do in Esau’s shoes?

Set alarm the story of Esau and Jacob it's pretty sad because Jacob did not have faith at that point his mother decided to put more favor on him and have him lie lie and steal a blessing from his dad because his dad loved Esau and the mother loved Jacob and he didn't have extra Faith you just listened to his mom and then realizing that they were like no good she sent them away to her family it is amazing to hear some of the stories p because they all sin delete all do something really bad like even in Moses's time God save the people and show miraculous favor then they immediately go worship the calf
@aja08210 I study. But the blessings were Esau's. But he couldn't see it yet, and traded what he thought was story for a bowl of stew. But yes all, ALL humans in the book are/were sinners.
A valuable lesson was learned from this ,never sacrifice short term Gain for long term happiness,Many people live like this ,Satisfying the Now,and Screwing up there Future, like getting into long term Debt,as there Short term Pleasure Gets Satisfied, they Realize How they Screwed themselves Over.
Very good point; however, it was not the lies and deception that lead to true blessings. God had already spoken over their lives before they were even born. God told Rebekah that Esau would serve Jacob, and one people ( Jacob/Isreal=Isrealites ) would be greater than the other people (Esau/Edom=Edomites). See, the prophecy had already been spoken while they were in their mothers womb. The character and actions of Jacob and Esau were of their own doing. What is for us is for us. Even when we do things outside of the will of God, when we repent with a sincere heart, God hears us. The blessing is always there it. We just have to put ourselves in a position to receive it. Even if the trickery had never happened, Jacob would still be ruler over Esau because God said it, and He is not a man that He shall lie. I pray this helps to understand. Abundant blessings. (Read Genesis 25: 22-26)
I know better not to question God’s word but I wonder why God allowed Jacob to lie to his Dad on his death bed so he could steal what was meant for Esau. If anything, I like how God worked on Esau to forgive his brother. I remember tripping out and crying when I read Genesis 33:4.
I wondered this also, until I read Genesis 25:23 The Lord Told Rebekah That The Older brother will serve the younger. & So it came to be that Rebekah basically made that happen in deceit. Esau was not entirely a bad person. He forgave his brother. It's has been predestined that his younger brother will be greater. I believe that Esau became wealthy as a descendant of Abrahim, got some blessings given to Jacob who wore his dress etc and imitated him by answering his name thereby making his father Isaac believe he was actually blessing Esau. Jacob didn't take advantage, and this lesson of twins shows how tradition of human means nothing. Esau swore his birthright away and he thought nothing of it and thought he would still get it back later from his fathers blessing anyway. Only rights of birth will trump everytime as God ensures RIGHTS and what is Right only are his will. Many people believe that in the day that Esau stood his birthright to Jacob for stew, that he hadn't Ben or hunting game. It's is thought that he had been in battle with Nimrod. Yes, the Nimrod of the tower of Bable. I'm not sure where they get this, but there is supposedly some documentation of this. So when the Bible says he was hunting, they believe he was hunting Nimrod and Nimrod's army. People believe that this is how Nimrod died. Esau came home completely exhausted and neat death himself. This is the agreement of lentil stew for his birthright. I don't know if it's true, but it's something to think about.

Am I the only one who thought that Jacob did Esau dirty when he took advantage of Esau's hunger?? Anything after that seems like it was colored by Jacob's scheming. He even tricked his father and received the blessing through deception.
1. Jacob was very spiritual. 2. The twin's mother, Rebekah, new that the second twin, Jacob, was chosen by Yah to rule and get the birthday so she told him to do as she said, Jacob objected but had to obey his mother. 3. Isaac was not caring about Yah's will. He only chose Esau bc he loved his food (very carnal of him too). 4. Esau had a bad temper and a bad heart. He even chose women who worried his parents almost to death.

The apostle Paul clarifies through the doctrine of predestination. What god intended... Though it is still the most accurate translation, it has nothing to do with the nature of the archaic language of King James english... When the author guided by the Holy Spirit wrote the language. "Esau I hated" understand that the Old Testament was written in Aramaic and in Hebrew... When moses wrote what he did guided by the holy spirit, the Original language is not implying that the Lord despised Esau - That is not what the word of god is saying, It is saying that the Lord elevated Jacob over. Esau or preferred Jacob over Esau. Or prioritized Jacob over Esau. It is not implying that the Lord loathed Esau - but rather: "for they not yet having been born nor having done anything good or evil, so that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of the One calling, it was said to her, “The older will serve the younger.”As it has been written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” [Romans 9:11-13] Sense, the New Testament is written in Koinae dialect Greek, the apostle. Paul used a greek word to convey the same sentiment as moses and the Old Testament language... the word here in Greek is: mine Which has four other meetings with specific context by application here - 'esteemed less' and that we can see when we read the story of Jacob and his relationship with his brother Esau. The Lord didn't hate Esau, he esteemed Esau less... The same language is used when the Lord approached the prophet Samuel about Hofni and Phinaeus... "shall be lightly esteemed" For committing abominations against the Lord sacrifice.. They did it with such disdain. That the Lord put them to death. Though they had every time to repent, they did not...

God's hatred & anger towards Esau-Edom is not a one-time event, its conveyed in the fact that Edom was "the people against whom The Lord has indignation forever"(Malachi 1:4). This is no mistranslation as the same is also conveyed in the New Testament "As it is written, Jacob have I loved , but Esau have I hated" (Romans 9:13) Very interesting information in the book "Who is Esau/Edom" by Charles A. Weismann. On Page 22 it says Verbatim "This hatred by God towards Esau is an attribute that the human heart cannot accept or embrace, and therefore many will try to explain it away. Thus scores of theologians have avoided this truth of scripture or have whitewashed it into something more appealing to human nature. God not only hates Esau-Edom and is against these people, but he refers to them as "the people of my curse"(Isaiah 34:5). This curse is not just on Esau but also his seed & his brethren (Jeremiah 49:10)

God did not hate Esau. That is unbiblical and here is why. Hate in the Bible is not hate as in a strong dislike but a favoritism of one over the other. Did God Love Esau, yes ,but he favored Jacob. Through Jacob would come the Nation of Israel. For example: Luke 14:26 26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters-yes, even their own life-such a person cannot be my disciple. Do you think Jesus wanted them to hate their families, No! The hate used here is favored. If you favor your family over me you cannot be my disciple was Jesus’ words. Much like in the Shema, you are to love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. God loved Esau and the Edomites. In Deuteronomy 2 God orders Mose in how to treat the Edomites. He wanted to be tender to Edom and no harm come to them. Deuteronomy 2: Then the Lord said to me, 3 “You have made your way around this hill country long enough; now turn north. 4 Give the people these orders: ‘You are about to pass through the territory of your relatives the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. They will be afraid of you, but be very careful. 5 Do not provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land, not even enough to put your foot on. I have given Esau the hill country of Seir as his own. 6 You are to pay them in silver for the food you eat and the water you drink.’” 7 The Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything. 8 So we went on past our relatives the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. We turned from the Arabah road, which comes up from Elath and Ezion Geber, and traveled along the desert road of Moab. 9 Then the Lord said to me, “Do not harass the Moabites or provoke them to war, for I will not give you any part of their land. I have given Ar to the descendants of Lot as a possession.”( Lots descendants were given possession of land by God. Lot was Abrahams nephew). God told Mose to not hate the Edomites, for he is your brother and that any Edomite unto the 3rd generation could become part of Israel. God showed love to the Edomites. As a Nation they rebelled against God but so did Israel. Deuteronomy 23:7 - Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land. Any Edomite unto the 3rd. Generation could become part of Israel by Gods commandment. Edom was later integrated into Israel and many converted to Judaism During the Maccabean wars ( 167-160 BC) the Edomites were subjugated by the Jews and forced to convert to Judaism. They integrated into the Jewish Nation and became Jews.

Esau was very red and hairy like a fur coat (Gen 25:25). Red is a dark color. Esau I’m sure was weird looking. The Edomites did not become white until they started merging with Japheth’s offspring the Romans, etc.
I don't perceive it as God hating Esau. Seems to me Jacob schemed his way into the birthright, which was just a life full of struggle while Esau got to stay back and chill with his parents and family

Suprisingly Isack lived 20 years from that time he blessed his son Jacob intead of issau.
After that God blessed Issau.
Those sons generations are still fighting up to now.
Yes, They Are. Very good observation
God said Esau he hated Jacob is who he loved.
It’s hyperbole
You can forgive but can you forget?
I find it amazing how, in a way, the differences between Esau and Jacob echoed that of Ishmael and Isaac.
the only thing ive been able to figure out about Esau is, he had no faith in what he couldnt see. and Jacob used his head and thoughts a lot.
That's what the chosen children of God does and we a black unto the ground and the Jewish devils aren't GOD chosen if you don't believe me than close your Bible us because white people stole our identity while at the same time paying for our slave trade how wicked is esaw
Jacob was black Esau was white this story makes no sense
A valuable lesson was learned from this ,never sacrifice short term Gain for long term happiness,Many people live like this ,Satisfying the Now,and Screwing up there Future, like getting into long term Debt,as there Short term Pleasure Gets Satisfied, they Realize How they Screwed themselves Over.
So basically Jacob was such a Jew he stole Essau's birth right in exchange for lental soup. Executed like a true wallstreet banker.
😂😂
I never understood how lies and deception would lead to true blessings
He also has the nerve to stop the burial of Joseph causing family feud, some one did cut off his head to stop him
I know better not to question God’s word but I wonder why God allowed Jacob to lie to his Dad on his death bed so he could steal what was meant for Esau. If anything, I like how God worked on Esau to forgive his brother. I remember tripping out and crying when I read Genesis 33:4.
I wouldn’t say he stole it Esau Gave him the birth right and so meaning the blessing he gave him as well
Obviously Esau regretted both
Because of free will
I wondered this also, until I read Genesis 25:23 The Lord Told Rebekah That The Older brother will serve the younger. & So it came to be that Rebekah basically made that happen in deceit. Then also Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of lentil stew Genesis: 25:31 All According To God's Plan. I Hope This Helps 😊❣️ Thank you For Being Observant
@@allisson27camila I dunno, I struggle with somethings in the Bible. Jacob knew his brother was famished but had the nerve to tell him “First sell me your birthright.”
Then I read a verse 1 John 3: 17- “If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?”

I think this story clarifies that predestination is a thing. God has those he loves and those he hates. Also there is no free will. Only the divine will of god

Every Christian teaches a different opinion about God's hatred. And I can't bare that anymore.
Let's not forget that God told Jacobs mother before he was born that it would happen this way, yet she tried to make it true herself, and didn't need to do nothing at all. God said so, that is enough. Amen

It is not implying that the Lord loathed Esau - but rather:
"for they not yet having been born nor having done anything good or evil, so that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of the One calling, it was said to her, “The older will serve the younger.”As it has been written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” [Romans 9:11-13]
Sense, the New Testament is written in Koinae dialect Greek, the apostle.
God worked it out according to his immutable counsel ..
Jacob cheated his elder brother Esau. His children too hated each other.
A living and loving God does not hate his children.

Really?
Deuteronomy 2:
Then the Lord said to me, 3 “You have made your way around this hill country long enough; now turn north. 6 You are to pay them in silver for the food you eat and the water you drink.’”
7 The Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands.
Deuteronomy 23:7 -
Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.
Any Edomite unto the 3rd. Generation could become part of Israel by Gods commandment.
Edom was later integrated into Israel and many converted to Judaism
During the Maccabean wars ( 167-160 BC) the Edomites were subjugated by the Jews and forced to convert to Judaism. They integrated into the Jewish Nation and became Jews.
The hammites are gonna go wild in this comment section 😂😂
You cant die of hunger after 1 day of no food.... some man can endure 100's of days without food.... and jacob made soup of WHAT ? Food that Esau brought days before ?!....
Not how it happened lol
If God hate Esau why he was born?so complicated
True. Why create something just to hate that would be cruel. Also that will appear a mistake, if he make mistake He cannot be God.
“Thy will be done…
He said “I have hated”
Why would God hate his creation before he was born ?
Why did the artist put 6 fingers on Isaac? Where they trying to say he was of the nephilen?
Malachi 1:3
How can God hate muchless have that same individual born in the first place you mean to tell me that God couldn't stop that from happening knowing he hated him lol smh 🤦
And his mother Rebbeca was Black and His Father.😊
Why does this God hate what he created. He already knew what Esau was. So the blame lies on this deity " Yahweh". The buck stops with him
Free will of man absolves God of any responsibility for our decisions and behavior if you know your being corrupted by evil spirits then do what God tells you in scripture to defend yourself so those bad choices are easier to avoid because you’re now aware of the cause.
@@lamontjennings8996 No it doesn't because God knows past , present and future. That's like me making a cake and not being responsible for the way the cake taste and looks. If we had free will there would be no need for hell. He is creating ppl while already knowing the outcome of that person's life
Deuteronomy 23:7
King James Version
7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.
When the
Father gave away everything you're telling me.There was no lawyers or nobody there to document it.Or write it down just a blind man give words to 1 of his sons. ????
Jacob was Black like his parents. Esau had a longer disruption because he was different than the rest of them.
Esau was very red and hairy like a fur coat (Gen 25:25). Red is a dark color. Esau I’m sure was weird looking. I recently saw an ancient stone carving of the first Herod, Herod the Great who came way after (72 BCE) his progenitor Esau and he still had ethnic features, large lips and nose after all those generations. I don’t understand why people think Esau was white. His kids weren’t either since he married two Canaanite women (Ham’s descendants) Ishmael’s daughter (Abraham/Shem and Ham descendant). The Edomites did not become white until they started merging with Japheth’s offspring the Romans, etc.
@@dawn0710esau was ruddy, his blood was visible through his skin, a caucasiod trait. They were both middle easterners
@@dawn0710japhet and shem mixed early on, when " japhet dwelt in shems tents"
I don't perceive it as God hating Esau. Seems to me Jacob schemed his way into the birthright, which was just a life full of struggle while Esau got to stay back and chill with his parents and family
These replies are sickening, apparently non of you get it, you are all blinded.
Fake reconciliation Jacob yeah right esau no divine mercy for esau permanently like heavens eternity
They didn't look like they were in this story, that's for sure.
"The first that was born was red". What was the colour of the other, then?
Who is the white boy with the bow?
Our Almighty God is a merciful and a faithful God who loved all humanity. He even loved Esua. Don't come up with such false allegations and fake narratives. God is Love. Alleluia Amen.
Cut it out. Stop preaching lies
So Jacob took advantage of his brother's weak moment to usurp and defy his father's will, yet he is the one who is righteous.Sounds like a douche move
And that same Jacob was later renamed Israel, the name of God’s chosen people.
Genesis 25:23 "And The Lord Said Unto Her, (Rebekah) Two Nations that are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; And the Elder(Older) Shall Serve the younger. "
it was all according to Gods plan all along.
@@allisson27camila OK, but that doesn’t change the fact that Jacob tempted his brother who seemingly was working hard to provide for his family and had natural inheritance to his birthright.
The whole point of this video is to say God hated Esau and you saying this was ordained by God all along only provides evidence that Esau was in fact mistreated by God.
@@JaredTVW Esau according to other scriptures was already a deceitful person & only pretended to care about the word of God. He was Supposed To Inherit It All, but he sold his birthright for a bowl of lentils from his brother that yes, Deceived him out of it because he saw that he was famished, but Esau clearly didn't care about his birthright to begin wit. Just like any regular family, one of the brothers wants what the other has, but I'm sure there's more to the story cause I DOUBT Esau was a good guy if God "Hated" Him and told Rebekah to give Jacob Dominion over his brother from before conception. He didn't actually "Hate" Esau, but he preferred Jacob over him to fullfil his purpose
@@allisson27camila I would wager tempting my brother to give me his birthright while he was hungry from a days work providing is pretty deceitful. I would wager wearing the skin of a lamb and going before my ailing father in hopes to receive something that does not belong to me is deceitful.
The man who was later renamed as Israel, the name of a nation God favored, was deceitful. Even if Esau was bad, even if it was preordained, this doesn’t make this passage look any better.
Took jacobs eyes
The Edomite story should be the next
Anybody gonna talk about Rebecca being a deceitful person?
