Summer Place was our Wedding song in 1964 and we danced to this theme song every year since. I had my last dance with my beautiful wife Jan 2023 before she passed June 5, 2023. Tears always come to my eyes as we both shared those moments together now 59 years married.

My Mom born in 1930 taught me how to slow dance to this song on repeat on the turntable!!! I love this song and to go back as Mom taught me to slow dance for the girls I would later date, I am 66 now and still remember us in the living room as she taught her 13 year old son to dance to this a few other sons.

1974-75 I was in the 5th grade..Our music teacher Ms Low taught use kids many beautiful music and songs...My favorite was whenever she play theme from A Summer Place. I don't know about other kids, but I instantly loved it..But the greatest moment, I didn't know at the time, that I'm so proud of when looking back of my youth, was whenever she plays it on a piano, she would always have me sing lead ( the lyric version of course ) in our choir class.. At the time I didn't understand why she picked me to sing lead, then I realize a week or so earlier as we were singing other songs, she would walk around the class and put her ears close to us ( while we're singing ) to hear how our voice is?..I guess she thought I was the best singer out of the entire class lol. Looking back at it all, I'm so proud that I was chosen to sing this, which is my #1 all time favorite instrumental....Thank you, and bless you Ms Low wherever you are for instilling on us kids, especially me, the love of beautiful instrumentals such as a 'Theme From A Summer Place' ...Oh how I miss the 70's...

1974-75 I was in the 5th grade..Our music teacher Ms Low taught use kids many beautiful music and songs...My favorite was whenever she play theme from A Summer Place. I don't know about other kids, but I instantly loved it..But the greatest moment, I didn't know at the time, that I'm so proud of when looking back of my youth, was whenever she plays it on a piano, she would always have me sing lead ( the lyric version of course ) in our choir class.. At the time I didn't understand why she picked me to sing lead, then I realize a week or so earlier as we were singing other songs, she would walk around the class and put her ears close to us ( while we're singing ) to hear how our voice is?..I guess she thought I was the best singer out of the entire class lol. Looking back at it all, I'm so proud that I was chosen to sing this, which is my #1 all time favorite instrumental....Thank you, and bless you Ms Low wherever you are for instilling on us kids, especially me, the love of beautiful instrumentals such as a 'Theme From A Summer Place' ...Oh how I miss the 70's...
