I'm really enjoying these frequent videos of a normal day in your life. Banging a fence together, welding, twisting wrenches, cultivating fields and managing livestock is great escapism from my retired life. Throwing in select family and pets' moments, makes for great icing on the cake!
The moment you cut the wrap off that hay I could smell it all the way in North Carolina. It's one of my favorite smells from my younger days. Thank you.
Love the guitar playing! Your videos are fascinating to me. I am always impressed. Looking forward to watching your channel this winter. It will the first time seeing what you do in winter. Have a great weekend! 🙂🌻☮️
Great job Tyler Good video your feels looking amazing looks like you're ready to plant today again great job great video I'll be watching again thank you buddy
Hey Tyler, missed not seeing Callie and the puppy in the beginning of this video clip !! I love how the puppy is also learning to "stay" on command, as well !!
It’s nice you explain horsepower and equipment needs you are pulling.. We all seem to learn about what you are doing.. You are more vocal than most and thus you are always more interesting.. Hope your fall comes together.., thanks..
I enjoy your video so much, Tyler. I always learn something!! I enjoy Callie going along with you, no matter where you go… Being your companion, I got a kick out of the one cow coming up in smelling her and trying to intimidator I think a little bit, but she held her own interested they’re like “I’m not moving for you!!” She not only is a pretty dog, she’s a Wealth trained Dog❤ As always, Tyler, I appreciate the time you spend making these videos for all of us ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ I appreciated the aerial view while you were on the tractor and floating your field… By the way, what are those really tall skinny trees you have a wooden row of between your field and your house?? We have something similar in the Midwest, but it’s not that skinny and I don’t think that tall either I knew you had two tractors, because I’m an artist, and an architect Plus graphic designer, and I pay attention to the details. While, they may both be blue, that is where they stop being similar other than the fact that they are the same brand! What is brand new blue looking or I would call it ultramarine blue, and the other is faded, and not nearly as of a bright a blue plus it doesn’t have all of the bright yellow detailing on it. And as you pointed out, they are different number to end powerful engine size and I could go on and on but you didn’t surprise me when you started talking about one was your tractor and one was your Dad’s?… do you ever get tired of some of the questions people ask? I think I would.😊 you’re pretty good-natured. Oh, I think all the time. I’m going to ask a question, do you keep all your chickens and turkeys for the winter or are you dress many of them out for food? Hope you get the rain you needing and I hope you have a mild winter!! Have a great weekend and God bless ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️🌈
Your hay looks like our straw. (Not trying to be mean) Here in Minnesota, we feed beef alfalfa, corn, and silage. You have to feed what's available. You obviously are doing well with what you have. Great video as usual. Love the new pup.
YES, you certainly made the cows happy. I had already decided that the “other” blue tractor was your dad’s…however I really enjoy your explanations as to the why’s and wherefore!!
I see that everything is brown and dead looking so you have to feed hay. Such a difference between California and here. Every thing is still green and growing here and we won't need to feed hay for another 6 wks or so. It rains here all year round even in winter but we get snow sometimes too cause our winters are mild. There's a misconception about ks. It is not all flat only the western half. The eastern half is hilly. Our soil is black and soft, always damp and soft making it easy to dig post holes. When use a lot of usage orange ( aka hedge) for posts cause it is plentiful, strong and doesn't rot. We grow our own feed such as corn and soybeans etc. I enjoy watching you solve problems and taking care of your cattle.
Thanks for sharing your work. I enjoy each of them. QUESTION: Is that you playing the guitar on the videos. I can just imagine you strumming and picking. Keep up the great work of filming, editing, doing voice overs, and producing. 👍
The cattle was cranky but it didn’t take long to fix it, really cool to see them lined up perfectly and quietly eating. Great vid FT! God’s blessings!❤❤❤
I really do love your videos. The strumming on that guitar can be so relaxing too. Mind you, depending on my mood, hearing it can make me quite emotional sometimes. Keep creating these videos. I'll never stop watching.
Looks like winter feeding season is under way for you Tyler good thing is that you look to have plenty of hay for the winter hopefully thank you for sharing blessings to you and your family
It’s always interesting to see different techniques. Some farmers call their cows and then lead them in, others such as yourself herd them in with some pithy comments on their highjinks!
Hello, first, I want to say thank you for your content. You have become quite the barometer for measurement in our home. Whenever we have a question, my son and I in conversation will instinctively ask. What did Project farmer think about it. Anyway, the big question, that seems to have a lot of advertisement but no solid foundation in the answer. Do electronic anti-scale water softeners work. Do you know the ones that wrap before and after and don’t use salt. I have always wanted to know if they really do and if so, which ones work best.
You're getting quite the herd. 👍 For as much effort and time it takes to unroll a bale it doesn't justify the time and expense to build a bale roller. The float does a really nice job.
Hey FTR good to see ya again. I meant to ask this last vid and completely forgot.. the rice straw is to help with the mud war this year right? Would it be worth your while to move some of the remains of those bales into the alleyways? Those always get churned up so figured it might help keep them usable for longer so u can sort the herd without having to wade through them lol. or would that make it worse? i dunno i don't have cows lol, just figured i'd ask
It made me feel good to see the sunset behind you...and i wondered if you had lunch in the field. Bu the time you can't roll the bale, your kids will be old enough! Not only time and money but also storage on that unwinder. Have a great day, FTR family
I remember loading square bales one at a time into the back of the pick up truck , tossing them off one at a time in the open field. kind of a semi circular pattern, then going back on foot and breaking the bales open, making sure to get all the strings. come winter with snow on the field was even more fun. Like your way better.
On a long rectangular field if you were to cut diagonally across each corner 2 or 3 times at first then you could just circle the field and save the time and wear and tear of doing a u-turn each time up and each time back. Probably save gas too. Also I loved the talking and driving thing!
First, I gotta say I’m not a farmer… so I don’t know. Do cows over eat? I saw them run to the hay and eat like they are starving. Would they eat like that no matter what? Looking like they are under fed…

I love all the different angles and views of the filming.
The moment you cut the wrap off that hay I could smell it all the way in North Carolina. It's one of my favorite smells from my younger days. Thank you.
Nice to see you have another fan from North Carolina! I was raised on a farm and do enjoy your videos!!

good morning
Nice work Tyler have a good day.
Hey Tyler, missed not seeing Callie and the puppy in the beginning of this video clip !! I love how the puppy is also learning to "stay" on command, as well !!
Great job on the hay field. As a bale wagon owner/operator I can tell you that most people don’t bother but I really appreciate it when they do!
GREAT JOB TYLER
ANOTHER THUBS UP... FOR CALLIE!!
It’s nice you explain horsepower and equipment needs you are pulling.. We all seem to learn about what you are doing.. You are more vocal than most and thus you are always more interesting.. Hope your fall comes together.., thanks..
Outstanding, thanks
You have some quality calves there, looking to be a good year for you and the beef market is pretty strong right now.
Thx! Nice picture (thumbnail) of the whole "family" at the dinner table ! ❤❤👍👍😊😊
Thank you for the awesome video

Always a sad day when you have to start feeding cows. Enjoyed the video!
I always enjoy your videos. Thank you
Thanks for sharing farmer tyler ranch I enjoyed the video

Hoping to make it a few more weeks with the pasture we have. All your cows look great, especially the Herefords!
Thx

wow.. look at the cows going yummy yummy for my tummy ;-)
I loved watching you simply working the land with your guitar in the background. Thanks for taking me along😊
Hi FTR what a wonderful video such happy cows so peaceful some how it makes the world just a title better thanks again

❤ Living the dream! Thanks for sharing. 😃

You and Mrs FTR are raising your future bale unrollers😅
Where’s Belli? Enjoy your hard work and patience .
Farmer tyler ranch I enjoyed the video and I hope you have a great day
So enjoy traveling along with you on your daily work. Loved hearing the cows.
Have a great day.
I would love to meet your parents. They must be great people because of the way they raised you.
Love seeing Buddy he sure is a beautiful cow ...You sure did make all the mommy cows happy !!
HAHAHAHA Buddy, HE sure is a beautiful COW !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep your cows were hungry they were really grateful I could tell. Callie is one heck of a companion.👍😎
Brother, you need a dust mask or respirator when dragging that field. No backscratching at the end of this video😆
You should build a bale unroller to pull behind your 4 wheeler.
Obviously, I commented before finishing the video. 😂
I really do love your videos. The strumming on that guitar can be so relaxing too. Mind you, depending on my mood, hearing it can make me quite emotional sometimes. Keep creating these videos. I'll never stop watching.
Loved seeing the cows run and line up for the hay. 😊
The Ranch is coming along Beautifully Tyler. Ur hard work really pays off. Luv u and ur Family. Keep it Pushing!
Glad your field is ready to plant before the rain and it’s about time to start haying all the cows are looking good. Have a good weekend and be safe .
Enjoyed watching the video Tyler 😊
I Hope Cali is ok, I seen her hoping on three legs out at the field
Corral system is looking good, just thinking that as you were opening and closing the gate.
Happy cow's, and Buddy
i push them with the front of the tractor it works great i have 6ft 1500lb bales can't do by hand
When the cows wanna be on one side of the gate and you are trying to get them on the other, by yourself it can be tough to do.
I know nothing about unrolling hay, but it looked like fun to me! 💖🌞🌵😷
Hi 😊
Well there was no waisted time bellying up to the chow line..lol All looks good on the FTR for this time of the year! Good post!
The cows got very quiet after you laid out the bail. The tractor looked like it wasn't struggling to bad! Thanks for sharing!
I always can't wait for your videos !
cute and funny all at once.
Another great video. TY
Great footage and editing, Tyler. Really a pleasure to watch, but must be a heap of work.
Looks like a long day!
That feeding did the trick, the cows from noisy to quiet.
Looks like winter feeding season is under way for you Tyler good thing is that you look to have plenty of hay for the winter hopefully thank you for sharing blessings to you and your family

It great Tyler that you are dragging the fields
Hi Tyler., feed those Crows they like talking to you 11-2-2023❤
Good video Mr Tyler😀 keep em coming, we're all watching 👀 🤠🐄🐕👍🏽🎉
Your hay looks so much different from our hay here in Ohio really enjoy your TH-cam channel nice job
Good video

It. Was 22 here in Tn this morning burrrr
Yep its time to start feeding hay
Well you make it look so simple but it is a lot of work just wanted to put my two cents in and tell you how great it is for videos
Hey Tyler: What kind of hay do you harvest and feed? Looks yellow but wow do the cows 🐮 love it! Blessings from Ohio ❤
He's talked about it in a few videos. If I remember correctly he grows triticale.
Wheres the new little dog? Haven't seen her lately.
What happened to the new puppy?
dang it open the gate already, them cows is hangry
You know there's a company called hustler and they make deals that help you roll those hay out my Wyoming life has one and it works wonderful
Well, you sure made those girls happy. Is your tractor a 2/4 wheel drive tractor?
I'm with you, a mechanical bale unroller is not needed for your volume.
I imagine you welcome the shower at the end of the day without a cab tractor.
Yep, we had another lunch date watching FT.
My dad never floated his ground.
Does your dad farm, too?
Does he ever help you?
Why do you roll the hay out? Is it to ensure that the little calves get to eat?
Question: If you had a bigger tractor with a large land plane, wouldn’t that do same or better than float implement?
💖💖💖💖💖
Does Mrs. FTR do the drone shots for you
If I were eating that hay, I would need a huge glass of water to wash it down. How do they do that?
How many cows are you feeding per bail or daily?
Is a no till seed drill not an option in your area? Seems it would cut down a lot of seat time on the tractor. Good video though!
I forgot why you said you had to plant new hay every year?
👍👍❤🐂
So how is it that some use a NO TILL Method???
How many cows do you have?
First, I gotta say I’m not a farmer… so I don’t know. Do cows over eat? I saw them run to the hay and eat like they are starving. Would they eat like that no matter what? Looking like they are under fed…
Tyler why don't you wear a mask?
how much for ten piglets
Greg Judy has a good bale unroller/transport he can use a atv to unroll. Utube channel master regenerative farmer, cattle, sheep, goats.
