@@tundraillustration He's talking to her about his ex-wife staying with him out of guilt, whether he's done the right thing, and crying, TO AN ELEVEN-YEAR-OLD. She is a CHILD. @@aurus6483 Yeah she is eleven. And I understand your concerns (no need to use caps, I am friendly and don't want you to feel upset with my replies) but you have to see that this movie has a few years and I am sure that there is no harm intended behind her interaction with him. I know now things are a bit different and interactions more analyzed. In my humble opinion the goal here was having the young lady as a comical support and somehow show that she as a child has the same amount of doubts as the adults while finding their way in the world. If you think about that Tom Hanks movie called "Big", where he is a child who wakes up an adult after asking for a whish, and meets an adult woman who is interested in him, that would possibily not be well perceived today. Sometimes we might perceive things that aren't there because we now feel the need to be more concerned. That's just my opinion of course. Feel free to disagree. Have a great day! Peace 👋
@@aurus6483 Just adding a little note in reply to your second reply. Yes it makes sense. You have a point there. Maybe they should have used Cooper instead. Thanks for the interesting discussion! You made me think. :)
Although this has happy ending, it always makes me sad seeing how much Heck loved her and how they were actually best friends.
What a charming but real movie, well done, emotional driven, sad on one hand, and lovely on the other hand.

Um ok but why was this grown-ass man looking for emotional support from an 11-year-old girl? Was nobody else uncomfy with that?
No. She is his sister in law and friend. Knew him since she was a baby :)
