Hi I use the DB01 also an love it in the combination of a OT and Alpha Base routed into Live. Add a pad to it .......

Great video! Thanks for this. So, still no ties? I watched Ricky's video ages ago and he mentioned it was an intentional omission, but I kinda hoped it had been added in a firmware update. I figured you would have mentioned it or demoed it in keyboard mode if they had. Love Erica, but the lack of ties was why I skipped it originally...the lack of USB didn't help either of course; those fax machine tonal updates...synth kitschy and ear bending as they are, are really just a pain in the ass. If I missed em let me know - this thing sounds awesome!
Yea, agree on everything. I haven’t checked for software updates for a while but yeah, no ties AFAIK. You can obviously fake them changing gate length but not the most convenient/precise workflow. Still, it sounds amazing.

All videos I watch are all short notes or only with release,
Well it’s a bass line synth after all, you can hold them for quite a while though, using a combination of tied notes and long gates!
im out here shopping around for a bass synth that can do some deep, smooth and subby type micro house vibrations. i havent heard anyone really do that on this. what do you think, possible?

Have you checked your clock source? If it’s on EXT and you’re not clocking it it expects a signal
