C 295 - Great Aircraft for the IAF and a Gamechanger for India

The delivery of the first C295 aircraft for the IAF was done in Spain during mid September. The IAF has contracted for 56 of these aeroplanes out of which 16 will come in flyaway condition and the rest will be produced by Airbus and Tata group in collaboration in India. This deal is a gamechanger not only for the IAF, but also for India since it marks the beginning of the first military aircraft production in India by private industry.
