- As Israel continues to bombard Gaza with missiles after the deadly Hamas attacks, a growing humanitarian crisis is emerging for the Palestinians. Yousef Munayyer, head of Palestine-Israel program at the Arab Center in Washington D.C., spoke with NBC News on how the war is affecting civilians are facing in Gaza City.

The people should tell their elected leaders, Hamas, to release the hostages immediately in exchange for turning on the water and electricity. They have no one to blame but their own government who they voted for.
Hamas was created by Israel…. And not to mention polling as recent as 2020 showed that the people of Palestinian, would elect the PLO FAVORABLY. The United States , and Israel, and the UN, has continuously denied them the right to a democratic state. We are witnessing ethnic cleansing

Yes, we absolutely must be concerned about the lives of the ordinary people who live in Gaza, but we can't sanction in any way what Hamas did. A justifiable anger has unleashed an unjustifiable horror. In the process, it has lost some of the sympathetic voices it had. Palestinians were not served by this attack on Israel.
The unjust horror has taken place during the illegal aggressive occupation over the last 20 years. And furthermore the repeated denial of global powers to even acknowledge the rights of the nearly 3 MILLION people who ARENT terrorists living in the Gaza Strip. Not to mention those unaffiliated to Hamas in the OCCUPIED West Bank. This was an INTENTIONAL failure on behalf of the Netanyahu regime in order to annex both areas and perform an ethnic cleansing of the Muslim society in Israel.
They voted of and have promoted Hamas, They house them in there homes and allow them to attack, they are no better then Hamas and now they will pay.

Israel disrupting hamas ability to wage war is NOT a humanitarian crisis for hamas. It is simply Israel winning. When the enemy is unable to logistically support the lines, they are defeated.

Did I miss it or this guy condemned killing of babies, women and the innocent by Hamas?? These people were celebrating the attacks few days back and now you are crying about the response. Israel will take its own time. They will keep bombarding unless they feel it’s a right time to enter the Gaza. This is too little of a response from Israel considering what Hamas did.

The people of Gaza should rise up, denounce and topple the Hamas rule, refusing to be the hostages of the terrorist group.

But all I can think about is that whatever children are lost in Palestine are not being killed intentionally they're being killed because Israel is bombing locations where Hamas is active as opposed to Hamas going into Israel and directly and indiscriminately attacking and killing children
Please, you have how many millions in that open air prison, you think there's open real estate for military maneuvers? What Hamas did was horrible but the collective punishment Israel is unleashing is equal if not worse. Israel supplies food, jobs, electricity and pretty much everything the people Gaza need to survive. 30K militants, or approximately 1.3% of the population are in control, making decisions that impact the remaining 98.5% of the population. So why is it Israel's responsibility to continue to provide resources to a city ruled by barbarians? I don't understand. Yes a humanitarian crisis is looming but it's a mistake to blame Israel for it
