Thank you to all the no-kill shelters who took care of these fine cats, believing in the right someone to adopt them!
We have always adopted and always older... Mr Bootsy was 4 when we adopted him... he is so sweet to me and considering my disability ❤❤❤❤
Mine was 15 when I adopted her, and I had her for seven sweet years.
I adopted my first husky, Mia, at 7 and a half, so the pound said. I had her for nearly 7 years, Mia had a good life. I have 6 cats and my oldest 2 are nearly 15, had them since kittens. Happy people take these older cats home, that way they know they are loved when it is time ❤❤❤
I only ever adopt elderly cats, my present senior resident is 17 year old Trixie, who's been with me for 7 months now.
She settled into her new home quite quickly, and in the last month she has started to see me not just as an accepted carer, but as a friend.
Senior cats are awesome 😻🫶 I adopted one when he was 7 and we are so happy together, his 10th Birthday is next month 🎂😸 we will have a big cat party with lots of treats and new toys
This is a wonderful post - so many beautiful loving pets AND owners! Thanks for putting this together for us to enjoy❣️
Adorable. Thanks, all.

Last year I lost three 18yo. All had been with me since kittens, though.
I can't imagine... 💔💔💔🥺

To the person trying to find a new name for Q-tip. Just drop the tip. Q was the smartest person in the James Bond movies.
Wow, I thought I was doing well adopting a 16y old cat two years ago!
Have no doubts, you are doing well by giving a home to an elderly cat.
And I know that for a fact because that's what I do too.
Forgive me, but I think I would rename Q-tip as Cutie, especially if she is used to the name...just a thought...
Oh....I love this very much. ♥♥♥
