As owner of a DJI 4 Mini 4 pro, upon discovering and learning about the Air 3s, I cancelled an order for an Air 3 after finding out that the Air 3 s had more advanced features,
Very happy Air 3 owner here. As of this moment I don’t plan on upgrading with the emphasis on as of this moment. Maybe next year. But I will admit that the interchangeable batteries and the ability to use my RC 2 might get me to pick up the RC-N3 model. Great job on this by the way as always. Take a bow.
Excellent review! I want the 1 inch sensor and the fact that you could look out the sensor cameras as well is very cool! I’m also waiting for the Mavic 4
Just waiting on mine to (hopefully!) clear customs. Thanks for the vid! It's tarantula season out there in California, I remember that from my visit last year lol Edit, with a question: are the ND filters staggered for the different F-stops in the cameras?
Thanks for great review. Really enjoy watching your channel. I'd like to have comparison of active tracking on DJI Mini 4 pro and Air 3S, and overall comparison between those 2 drones. Thanks
Can the bottom and side-facing cameras that NOW use infrared Time-of-Flight (TOF) sensors also perform thermal imaging, since both detect infrared radiation? I noticed that hands and face appear brighter @ 7:03 * According to Ai * Human skin can reflect a significant amount of NIR light making it appear brighter to the TOF sensor. The difference is detection of long-wave infrared (LWIR) vs near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths (8,000-14,000 nm vs 50-950 nm). If attaching a 850nm Infrared torch, the 3S would make it a powerful tool for property surveillance :D
Hello & thank you again for the excellent overview of the Air 3s. I was apprehensive prior to watching your & other reviews as to whether or not I should upgrade from my Air 3 with the conclusion that I pulled the trigger yesterday & with a little luck will have the new drone by today! My main reasons were: the compatibility of the Air 3 components that I already possess from that fly-more kit (with the exception of the filters). I’m afraid if I wait for the Air 4 next year, everything will be different, especially the batteries, & I’ll be forced to give out more cash for the fly-more kit. So I just purchased the Air 3s drone alone & will sell my old trusty 3er in eBay later this week = probably a few hundred € loss, but whatever…
Jeven great video as always. Do yo thing the tracking from de Air 3 S can compete against Skydio 2 or the discontinued Skydio is still de king of tracking. Trank from Argentina.
My one concern is the controller, never mind the drone, the screen simply cannot manage bright conditions, but I suspect that will come with the next upgrade to force another purchasing option!
@@SkyVisionStudiosLLC They now promote the smaller sensors as more capable than the older ones. Some say that's downgrade, some call it upgrade. I am just consumer so my opinion is subjective 😄
@@AlmightyRodga obv there isn't if you already have a air 3, but if your coming from say a mini 2 air 3s is better at pretty much everything for the the same price of air 3
I think what strikes me as a little odd, and I maybe wrong, but how do you set exposure if you are not able to set aperture? I understand iso, nds and shutter speed but would prefer to set aperture manually as well for that motion blur used in cinema and documentaries, ie 50 and 60. I understand you are not able to this with the air 3s?

The new Air 3S did receive some nice upgrades, and its worth upgrading if your coming from an older model. Great video Jeven, and thanks for sharing.
Mine will be here on the 29th. Would love to see 3s with wide angle lens on.
Awesome vid. Very informative
When I grow up I want to be like you!! 😎😀😎😀
There you are, I was waiting for you! Debating to upgrade from the Air2S. 2 lenses would be awesome.
Air2s here. I don't think the new output looks much better.
Mavis pro has much better video. Also pretty impressed with that Neo for sports.
Awesome content my friend! Glad that I found you… subscribed!
Are any of the new features of the 3s coming to the the Air 3 in firmware updates?
Is there a noticeable noise difference?
Has the battery life/charging gotten a lot better since the air 2s?
Thanks for sharing the film 💚
Hey Jeven, what are you using to mount the controller on your bike?
I wish my Air2S wasn’t such a good drone😂, I really want a new 3S

Recently destroyed mavic3 and considering air3s as a replacement.
This seems like it’s almost on par with m3 but in a smaller form factor.
Yes very similar but a little smaller. The camera on the M3 is better but its not a huge difference anymore. I prefer the Air3s now
Looks like mine has passed customs, ordered on 15th. Now says will deliver on 21st
How does it compare to M3P - dynamic range, overall quality of photos and videos?
The Air series is absolutely the best for me & the 3S is the one I've been waiting on...now to fund it 🤑😂

Ordered mine the other day is stuck in customs. Don’t know if I’ll ever get it. United States for you

The new Lidar obstacle avoidance isn't helping it avoid the US Customs block on the drone... /sigh.

"Need 1 inch sensor drone?"Yes, we have the Air2s 🤠
The air2s is 1 inch? Did they downgrade to the 3?

Great drone, was sort of expecting 5k and a 20mp camera. oh well
camera is probably better on the 2s
@@bernhardvisualsNo it’s not lol..
I’m collecting donations to have air 3s, thanks for contribution. I promise to get nice shoots for you 💯
Try going from a mini 2 to an air3s, now that's an upgrade.
Cool drone Love u my crush❤
Kinda of seeing the same noise as the Air2S, which I already own.
Anyone else?
Not enough improvement to sell the air 3 in my opinion...from a novice standpoint. And a primarily fpv guy. But the air 3 is so good.
Air 3 owner here, probably not worth upgrading until Air 4s comes out 😂
❤
Dj30a
Thanks daddy
DJI turning into apple
Apple is the worst
Yeah 😅
Although they didn't name this the Air 4, which Apple definitely would've done
why? what did you expect from a S upgrade?
@@teefus1 I didn’t expect anything lol but there is literally no reason to upgrade to the 3S
