Hello there, i memorised the concept no. 2 of planar/flat with ...plane Of Symmetry...if a horizontal line passing over the moelcule divides it into two symmetrical halves...it is planer. Is my trick any good?
I would say it works in most cases, but not all. Not every symmetrical molecule is guaranteed to be planar. For example, a molecule in which two sp3 carbons fall in line with the axis of symmetry.
It's actually sp2 hybridized (flat in shape), having three bonds to other atoms. One each to the two neighboring carbons and one to a hydrogen atom. The lone pair sits above the plane in the only unhybridized p orbital.
I don't believe this video covers the example of [8]-annulene. Unfortunately, I don't offer tutoring over social media. For help with questions like this and more, I recommend joining the organic chemistry study hall. Details: leah4sci.com/join or contact me through my website leah4sci.com/contact/

do you mean something like benzene vs 1,3,5-hexatriene? If yes there are some well studied experiments with data, do a search for heat of hydrogenation graph and take a look
Huckel's rule states that the number of resonating electrons must equal 4n + 2, where n must be a whole number. For more on this topic, make sure to see my full tutorial at Leah4sci.com/Aromaticity

Thank you soooo much mam.....It really helped me now. You are far more Better than our Professor😻😻😻😻😻😻💞💝... You are a very excellent teacher...
I'm so glad to help!
Thanx mam for awesome explanation but I have a question, why it is necessary for aromaticity that molecules must have cyclic structure
Because of high stability due to resonance and it also show hyper conjugation
That's a great question! The stability comes from having delocalized electrons in a continuous overlapping ring solidifying the entire system.
Your videos are so amazing ..heart touching language 😘
Thank you
Thank you so much for the superb video.... Really needed something like this
You're very welcome! Glad I could help

Ur whats up no plz...i need ur help regarding chemistry plz
is aromaticity part 2 available?
This weekend. Still finalizing the video
So do all of the atoms that make up a molecule have to be SP2 or SP for the molecule to be planar?
yes, anything sp3 or higher would introduce 3-dimensionality
First, thank you. Secondly, could you download all aromaticity videos at the nearest chance, please?
I don't need to download them, I already have them ;)
But in all seriousness I do not allow downloading of my videos only streaming on TH-cam
Thank you so much ❤️❤️
