I feel for her bcuz when you hit a certain age as a woman, they call it the sandwich phase, bcuz you have to think about your children's future, how to care for aging parents, AND take care of yourself while knowing you need to be planning & saving for when you retire AND try to have a life in the present ALL at the SAME time. It's a LOT & probably what leads to midlife crisis.

As much as Gizelle gets on my nerves at times...I feel kinda bad for her. As women we have to do so much to make sure everyone we love and care about is safe and most times we forget to take care of ourselves. I hope she find some balance

Lifestyle and she needs to seek God first , then the right man will appreciate her and she will see that he is the right fit.

Looking back on these episodes again...Sherman had already broke up with Gizelle at this time...and was dating someone else...he never planned to escort her to Candace's wedding...he was off her from the People Magazine article where she said they were together without his consent...Then Gizelle went to Candace wedding and tried to put Sherman not wanting to come with her to the wedding on Monique...instead of just saying they were already broke up...and Robyn went along with Gizelle on the lie...Sherman was already done with Gizelle by the wedding...and Gizelle and Sherman never had the double date with Robyn and Juan in a year and one half.....Sherman was never really into Gizelle at all...Not like she tried to imply...

well i am youngish still (30) and the air head thing is a trend here too, i myself have a problem with that, guys seem to be turned off by me having a PhD.... it's hard.. and insulting too... i think for Giselle it might more be the fact that she is thinking of using that man's money for something like a house before even being in a committed relationship... pretty sure men smell that and run, and i can't blame them. I don't think the men will necessarily run from a woman looking to to be spoiled and taken care of, just as long as he knows he can control her. When did parents just ask their kids to buy them homes? I must be blessed because my Dad paid for my education and said your on your own. He didn’t buy me anything else and never asked for anything in return other than I don’t waste it. But then again I come from a strong black upbringing so maybe that’s it. This whole dynamic of having your husband give your Mom and her boyfriend $5k/mo and your mom telling her daughter who is a single mother of three to find a rich man and get him to buy me a home is just odd.

This dude told it right she is the source for the majority of the stress she's feeling. It's draining playing a part, creating an entire persona, we don't know the real Gizelle and neither does she. The whole while she's been feeling utterly miserable when she's alone, behind closed doors and Sherman was the knock that would bring it all to the surface. Her mean spirit, constantly making others feel bad, lashing out for the sake of it, often crossing the line is everything she's been feeling deep inside, it's sad but she's got to deal with it

She prods people to reveal their innermost thoughts and feeling but doesn't know how to confront her own. This doesn't excuse her behavior but it explains some of it.
