Bancal Port Carles Iloilo

The easiest and quickest method to get to the Gigantes Islands is through Bancal Port in the town of Carles. Bancal Port to Gigantes Norte can be reached by pumpboat (local outrigger) ferry in about 1.5 hours. Transiting through Bancal Port is highly advised rather to the more well-known route via Estancia Port because there are daily commuter ferry trips and a Municipal Tourism Office to help tourists. Tourists can also rent a boat to travel to and through Gigantes from either seaport as an alternative. The port also serves as fish port for local fishermen.
