This version of the game is different from the global version and is not playable outside of China so you cannot simply download it and play on its server.

The sceneries are amazing the ability to zoom out instead of being drowned by ur base makes the world feel more massive

In case you are wondering why certain appearances of troops were redesigned or removed, for example, wallbreaker, dragon rider, or pirate skins, while their profile picture remained as original, it has nothing to do with the CCP disapproving skulls or cleavage but rather is due to some karens in China having made complaint requests to the party to remove those images under the pretext that they are visually harmful to their kids.

I remember that's what happened to all the pirates skins. Some Karen complained about it on Weibo, saying it glorified bad people (pirates) for their kids. The post went viral, leaving the government no choice but to remove it.
But I find it funny that they added the pirate king skin back on the ocean scenery as an eastern egg, just not as a playable skin for the king.

let me explain something in the video
1. the "spoon" in the diamond pass is a thing called "si nan", it is used as the compass in the ancient China
2. the "magic horn" is actually learn from some cn's MMORPG games, to let the players spend more money to build up their clans/toxic other players
3. the name of "poison potion" is changed to "damage potion" due to their law
4. the skeletons is changed to robot
5. the banner in the game chat is get from some special event/their achievement system I guess? ( I don't really play cn version coc )
6. the main reason causes the global server and cn server different is because cn server is represented by Tencent, which is a company that prefer make more mone=y but not doing a good game

We can analyze it from two perspectives, one is the player's perspective, the other is the game company's perspective.
What game companies want is profit, and wings can bring more special effects to the skin (and wings are really good-looking), which will stimulate players'desire for kryptonite.

Players with skin discriminate against those without skin, and players with good skin discriminate against ordinary players with skin. I definitely don't want any sort of gacha system in global CoC, but some of these features could be really cool. Like the cosmetic birds added to your scenery is a really cool idea that could add unique flair to your village.
The "Spoon" items for the gacha (from what i remember) are actually really early versions of today's compasses :D

Kinda crazy to see some of the things supercell can do in clash of clans, but just doesn’t do them for the global version. I think more cosmetics would be awesome such as the banners and town hall skins.
Townhall skins is terrible idea , there is a reason why townhalls are so worked on their original design to make them easily recognisable , having a lot of different skins would be messy to identify a townhall level during attack , and also in the Chinese version it seemed they have same townhall appearance in skin for different townhall levels which is dumbest idea

7:31 the royal champion has differing skin colors in the main game as well. The Clan war token skin for example is way lighter than the default one.

Firstly, Wish we had a daily/weekly streak reward system. It’s actually kind of mind blowing we don’t. It incentivizes/reminds players to log on. Me personally even with my ups & downs with COC, I would have 100% been logging on more if we had the daily log in reward system. Def a huge mistake not having that globally
Secondly, the cosmetic bases & player skins were honestly amazing. Wish they put more creativity in our version tbh. Feel they’ve done extremely lazy with hero skins or base skins

The only useful change in the china version are the bigger builder potions. After a certain point 10 hours skipped is basically nothing
That and being able to buy hammers and anything else anytime without having to do clan war leagues
and all the cool cosmetic stuff
Maybe Supercell could modify the Builder Potion from 10 hours to 24 hours skipped.
I honestly want to see some of these in the global version. The Daily Log In Rewards should've been a thing without being inactive for months. I can see the Diamond Pass being implemented too. It would be nice to have another builder and maybe an extra research slot. The town hall cosmetic seems nice too. It can't really affect the gameplay, unlike map themes which can make attacks confusing at times. The only issue it can cause is guessing what level it is if there are no indicators and the base doesn't have any upgrade of the next th yet.

I hope Supercell makes a global chat for recruiting clan members, and can give a delay of 1-5 minutes per chat.

The cosmetics in the Chinese servers have always looked really nice honestly, even if they don’t feel like they fit the character, I would love it if the global version released those skins with some modification to make them look more like the hero they are supposed to be and just add those sceneries because they are really cool

I feel like this is a glimpse of the future for COC
Not the only one, though. Plants vs. Zombies 2 also went through massive changes. The Chinese version contains more features, a couple of balances and changes for the game, tons of different plants and zombies, and heck, even new worlds. The international ended with Modern Day as the final level, while the Chinese version cooked a lot in the kitchen. The simple answer is that the Chinese gaming community loved the game, and tons of support was given in China.
But many Chinese prefer the international version of pvz2 because it has better game balance and less kryptonite content than the Chinese version

there was like a migrate option when chinese server just started, and a lot of free items are given, Knowing how notoriously TENCENT is in terms of p2w I opted out. And I now appreciate my decision more than ever.
