- cold overcast morning and low water temperatures. Still the river up a metre.
I headed down for a nice afternoon on the severn.
Finishing the afternoon with a very welcome chub and a barbel.

What length is your hook length and do you tie your own rigs? I wouldn’t have a clue how you do it
I do Andrew and there about a metre ish.
Just a basic hair rig size 8, or 10 around that m8. 👍🎣🎣👍

Hi mate. Have you got a box to keep your hook lengths in ? Can you get them for long hook lengths, I’ve only seen small boxes for small hook lengths . Cheers
For my barbel hook lengths, I use a sea fishing wallet that works great for me. Takes no room up, too. 🎣🎣 👍

What Rods do you use and Reels. And what pound line Mick. Tight Lines.
Korum barbel rods 2lb test. Shimmio x aero 600 reels, 12lb main line. That max 10lb hook length line 🎣🎣👍
Hiya Mick..Do you have to pay at the car park in Arley? it says on the website baa members free parking, do you have to leave youir memership card or something on the dashboard? can't figure it out...
I had the same issue. Got told to leave my BAA hand book on view in the car👍
I parked there a couple of times and couldn’t figure it out either.
Think it was only a couple of quid at the time so I paid.
Yes, don't pay. I just leave a baa sticker on dase. The fishing guys normally park at end of car park, close to first meadow. 🎣🎣👍
@@leftmono1016 Don't mind paying a couple of quid, more concerned if you get a ticket for £100 for not paying parking fees or something along those lines, rather be safe than sorry but if you leave something that says you're a BAA member and that is acceptable, happy days!
