Thanks for the video, maybe I missed or not discussed (I'm not native English) - if I have an ortho drawing with few viewports generated from a 3D model and during the project the source 3D model changed and the name (revision) modified (it means updated copies saved as the project goes on - it is normal during engineering) how I can update the generated orthos' source to the latest 3D model?!? (Because the available viewports aren't changed only the source.) Thanks for any feedback!
Select the drawing with the views, Right click on the ortho in the project manager and select Update Views. However, if you have renamed the source file name of the model this will not work because the views are associated with the model they were created from based on the file name. Your only option would be to open every ortho drawing and delete all views - which also deletes all annotation and bom’s - then recreate everything from scratch.
Moral of the story - NEVER rename the file name/drawing name of the models. You basically have destroyed all your orthos at that point. If you need to keep records of revisions of source files then using windows, copy the source files out of the project and rename those copies, but within the project the source/model files must have the same name throughout the project. Another option would be to back up the project and make that backup the last revision record but keep the current project the latest revision while maintaining the file names. OR purchase Autodesk Vault and let it manage the revision process for your Plant Project.
Is it possible to set valves automatically in another layer?
Can we add the Grid bubble in the Ortho Drawings?
Annotation from the Source Drawings are ignored in the Ortho drawings, so unfortunately not. You would have to manually add this to the Ortho.
Thanks for the video. Can you tell me how to move a view around on the sheet, after it has been placed?
While in Paper Space, Use AutoCAD’s Move command.
Thanks
Helo, grea video. Was wondering if you could give private online classes. Not sure how to correctly draw sections of a Base ortho view.

have you done some Ortho table configuration? Like for Isometric table? I've noticed that there is no title block atributes in ortho settings
