You are so true about them dragging us into them. I don't remember which day I became an aroha it's been 2 and a half year and I am still in love with them. I fall in love with them every single moment and I don't know if it's even possible but I would still tweet that I fell in love with them once again 😂it just became my habit to watch them and smile my whole day when they smile, laugh when they laugh, and cry when they cry. I fell in love with their personalities. They are just so beautiful inside and out. I fell in love e with their voices. I fell in love with the way they dance. I fell in love with the way they love us. I fell in love with them and I can go on and on for a whole day. I am just so proud of being an aroha. The way they show their love us just so beautiful. I believe that every artist love their fans but the way astro gives us advises whenever we want someone to talk about, the way they tell us that they are here for us and we can share everything with them...it may seem like its just a small thing to say but for someone those little words can be so comforting. The way they always include at least one fan song in their albums to show what they want to say because sometimes they can portray their feeling better through a song. The way they would tweet whenever arohas are confused about something on twitter or the way they would turn on the VLIVE just to make sure to arohas that they are OK and we don't need to worry about it. I still remember there was a time when they turn on the VLIVE to do the mukbang because some arohas didn't had any appetite so they made us jealous so that we would eat too. I can rant on about their love for us but I don't have enough words to describe it. There talents are just as indescribable just as their personalities.... I love them so fucking much. OMG!! I just love your enthusiasm when it comes to Astro. I feel like looking in a mirror as my reactions are pretty much the same😊 I am also a new Aroha and I think why I love them so much is the amount of positive energy I get watching them. The coolest part of the "Call Out" one take is that there is no camera operator... they are seamlessly passing the camera between the members and it's pretty damn amazing.
If we were to talk about the original i-Teen line up which is the 2010 line-up, it consisted of 7 boys: Moonbin, SF9 Chani, iKon Chanwoo, Lee Jae Sung, and 3 more. Just a little background history, Moonbin, Chani, and Chanwoo came from Kids Planet Entertainment which is a kids modelling agency that handle them along with GFriend SinB. Mr. Na Byungjun by then was a manager at Sidus HQ and scouted Moonbin, Chanwoo, and Chani together with the other little DBSK to audition on Sidus HQ. Later on, Mr. Na quit his job at Sidus HQ and founded Network of Asia (NOA, former name of Fantagio), bringing with him the children he had scouted. He started the project 'i-Teen' and the kids are the original line-up. Many trainees came and left. i-Teen line up when they started the weekly performance at Lotte World on December of 2014 consists of 9 teens: MJ (Kim Myungjun), Jinjin (Park Jinwoo), Eunwoo (Lee Dongmin), Moonbin, Rocky (Park Minhyuk), Sanha, Lee Jaesung (from the 2010 i-Teen), Son Jinyoung, and Wontak (formerly Rainz member, but now a soloist). Wontak didn't passed the monthly evaluation, Son Jinyoung left Fantagio to focused on studying, and Lee Jae Sung left and debuted as main vocalist of Class Mate. In the video of Trainee Funk, aside from the ASTRO members, Son Jinyoung is the other one with the white jacket and on the keyboard at one scene.

ASTRO real names: MJ (Kim Myungjun), Jinjin (Park Jinwoo), Cha Eunwoo (Lee Dongmin), Moonbin (Moon Bin), Rocky (Park Minhyuk), Yoon Sanha (Yoon Sanha) You & Me is a fan song and the lyrics are actually written by the ASTRO members. They also performed it in concerts and taught the dance to AROHAs beforehand in a vlive. During the day of the concert, they instructed again how the dance goes before performing it and dancing with all the AROHAs in the venue. Call Out is a song they sang for their encore stage in their 2nd ASTROAD concert. They just kept on repeating the chorus and ending around 7 times for the encore stage, AROHAs were super hyped too and kept on singing. Before ASTRO came to be, the remaining nine i-Teen trainee’s underwent a survival program: Bin, Rocky, Sanha, Eunwoo, Jinjin, Junyong, Jaesung, MJ and Wontak. For 2 months, they performed in Lotte World's Rising Star where they had to come up with new performances every week. They had to prepare at least 2-3 songs and create their own choreo. ASTRO mentioned multiple times that it was one of the hardest challenges they ever had to do. During the initial teasers of their new boy group, Fantagio marketed iTeen as a seven-member group soon to debut. After 4 members were revealed in the debut list, Wontak was no longer present in any updates posted by Fantagio, so fans assumed that he didn't pass the monthly evaluation or left to pursue another passion. After the remaining 2 official members were revealed, Fantagio sort of made a statement that Junyong failed the evaluation, and decided to focus more on school. There was no update at that time about Jaesung.

Fun Fact: It's a running joke in the fandom that moonbin and rocky are actually the longest standing employees in fantagio since they started training so young and there were so many changes in management. Before the announcement of the final 6 members 9 iteen boys (including all astro members) participated in a survival show called Lotte World Rising Star. For about 2 Month in early 2015 they had to prepare 2-3 stages each week to perform them live on a stage in lotte world. (There are some fantaken videos of those on youtube) I guess during that time they started to select the final six trainees with 3 of them not making the cut or withdrawing. The members said before that this was the hardest time for them. I think in August 2015 Fantagio announced their first boygroup astro that would star in a pre-debut webdrama called to be continued.

In the iTeen video, the one in the middle is our Rocky (Park Minhyuk). Lee Dongmin is Cha Eunwoo's real name. The one in the last 7 that didn't debut was Jinyoung. He left fantagio to pursue his studies. They were actually still students at that time. These three are the maknae line and they were still in school during this time (almost all of Astro are from Hanlim, except for MJ)
The one in the middle you couldn't recognise, was Rocky. His birth name is Park Minhyuk. Also about the extra iTeen member, not much can be found on him but it is rumoured that he failed an evaluation in May 2015. Fantagio also released a letter from him (Son Junyong) saying he'd left Fantagio and decided to prepare to enter a University in Seoul. This still can't be confirmed though. Fun fact, did you know the original line up of iTeen was way different to the one you see in the video? The original line up in 2010 only had one Astro member in it. But it did have iKON's Chanwoo and SF9's Chani before they left to join there current companies.

In the iTeen video, the one in the middle is our Rocky (Park Minhyuk). Lee Dongmin is Cha Eunwoo's real name. The one in the last 7 that didn't debut was Jinyoung. He left fantagio to pursue his studies.
They were actually still students at that time. These three are the maknae line and they were still in school during this time (almost all of Astro are from Hanlim, except for MJ)

The one in the middle you couldn't recognise, was Rocky. His birth name is Park Minhyuk. Also about the extra iTeen member, not much can be found on him but it is rumoured that he failed an evaluation in May 2015. Fantagio also released a letter from him (Son Junyong) saying he'd left Fantagio and decided to prepare to enter a University in Seoul. This still can't be confirmed though.
Fun fact, did you know the original line up of iTeen was way different to the one you see in the video? The original line up in 2010 only had one Astro member in it. But it did have iKON's Chanwoo and SF9's Chani before they left to join there current companies.
