- This is a collection of jokes about my experience living in Canada as an immigrant. The strongest jokes are all new. I did some of them on Canada's Got Talent, some others went viral on Instagram and became the beginning of my career in comedy. I decided to put this out so I can show you these jokes in their finished form, edited the way I would like.
New bits will be releasing every month. If you enjoyed watching, please do like, share, and subscribe to the channel!
If you would like a show in your city, you can sign up for my email list here - forms.gle/9u3C...

Yup! I taught an American how to take the IELTS so she could move here. It's ridiculous. I'm just glad you got a great routine out of it :)
That I did :) thank you for watching! 😊
"I heard the apostrophe" isso real😂😂😂😂
I talked to one British girl, she failed IELTS exam and then her Chinese immigration lawyer who barely spoke broken English told her to study harder next time
Saying thank you is something from the Canadian culture I'd like us Indians to adopt. It is polite to do so with strangers, friends you can curse all you want.
@@trupalcanada I can respect that sentiment :)
Dawg 😂 what do you mean. Saying thank you is just basic common sense and being a decent person buddy guy
@@jasonsingh3203 unfortunately common sense is not that common :)
As a Canadian I mean yeah it's dumb just as many things😂 many things don't make any fricking sense 😂
Commenting for engagement. This needs more eyes.
Very funny stuff. As a French/Native/Irish Canadian I connect with your humour.
Living in Alberta I love d the Grand Prairie joke. I don’t like that city though…
thank you very much for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it!
Brutal 😂
Solid set 👍🏼👍🏼
Dude they even need ielts for work permit now 😂
Ashwyn you are phenomenal! Sharing this right away...we need more people to watch this 😊
Thank you Prachi! ❤️❤️❤️
Ha ha ha. This would hurt many not only on emotional level but to the spiritual level. This is a spiritual roast 😂😂
Found a clip on tiktok and decided to watch the whole thing 😂 omg you are hilarious!
@@joannabarrett655 thank you for making it over to the long video! 💖
IELTS would be soon replaced by Test of Punjabi, Mandarin and Gujarati 😂😂😂.
Niicceee
Great insight we Canadians may be polite but maybe it’s a scam lol
>Quebec joke
Ashwyn, you are truly one of us ❤
I just love your sense of humour 💗
Thank you! ❤️
Hilarious! So glad I found you on Facebook!
Yay! Thank you!
I was laughing the entire time! I need to keep an eye for if you book a show in Winnipeg.
Edit: September 14th! Awesome!
Thank you so much! Yes, tickets go live Sunday!
Nailed it! After my citizenship test, we had a joke in my office on who knew more about Canada. Every Canadian in the office (except one) would have failed the GK test!!
The stolen lands was a great one you did. Please do more on that.
😂😂😂😂
I love your content. When are you coming to Sudbury 😄
minus that i dont personally like countries and cultures being dumped, it was a really super cool performance .
Thank you for your candor!
Hilarious bro...😂😂
Man awesome 👏🏻
Great smart set
CFBR!!!!
You sound so much like TRID. Great set
Thank you thank you!
Love your routine bro.. You rock!!
Appreciate it!!
Awesomeeeeee
Thank you!
University education does not test your language skills unless you are taking a literature of a language. You could even have PhD with poor language skills, you clearly have no fluency in English but claims to have completed a degree from U Waterloo.
They also make you take the same English test twice. What would you prove by passing twice that you wouldn't prove by passing once? And, if I'm not fluent but I still passed the test twice, what use was the test? The issue isn't my fluency, it's your comprehension. There's a joke about that in the set too. Also, "a literature of a language" is not a grammatical sentence. You're a terrible judge of language, and I reject your opinion.
@@AshwynSinghComedy first of all there is no grammar issues with “unless you are taking a litterateur of a language” issue if read it within the context of what I was talking about. Second, While it's true that educational institutions generally require a minimum level of language proficiency for admission, the specific requirements can vary depending on the program. For example, programs in the humanities, such as English literature, history, or philosophy, often demand a higher level of language proficiency due to the nature of the coursework. However, for other programs, the focus may be more on specific skills or knowledge, and the language requirements might be less stringent.
But immigration and educational institutions often have different criteria for language testing. Immigration may prioritize general language proficiency, while educational institutions may evaluate language skills within the context of specific academic fields. Good try though.
@@oshop2990- literature is not used in singular or plural terms. You don't take "a literature" you just take literature.
- it's definitely not spelled litterateur
- way to skip over the part where I said they make you take the test twice
- way to skip over the part where I asked if I can pass the test twice and still be called not fluent by the likes of you, what use was the test?
Look in the mirror before you judge somebody else, and try doing your research every once in a while.
@@AshwynSinghComedy they made you “ take the rest twice “ haha. Relax dude. You’re trying to correct others spellings while making of your own. Just move on.
@@oshop2990great, you're right. I corrected my mistake. You still haven't addressed any of the points I raised. This is my channel. You move on.

I agree that it was nothing but crap. Truth is, his (Ashwyn's) EGO got affected by everyone and everything he had to face in Canada. 🇨🇦 I'm a born Canadian who has Indian Parents. Hence, I respect their country India very much. 🇮🇳 This Dude needs to understand that each country of the world has its own set RULES AND REGULATIONS that have to be followed and every newcomer needs to abide by them. Simple. Venting out his anger on a comedy stage towards people who gave him a hard time doesn't solve anything. He's only making his own self look like a complete idiot/uloo. 😂😂😂
@@sarahahmed2327 the rules and regulations of every country are subject to evaluation and change based on their efficacy. Laws are made to serve the people, not to be blindly followed without questioning them. And staying quiet with somebody's boot on your neck isn't respect, it's subjugation. I have every right to criticize what I want, whether or not you agree with it. Just like you have every right to come to my platform and say whatever you want, no matter how stupid. And by the way, I have not broken any rules or regulations. You could have said you didn't like the jokes, but you chose to come and say these things instead. So I will remind you that your country (and now mine too) was founded upon the blood, sweat, and tears of its indigenous people. What bothers me isn't the laws, I actually like this country. What bothers me is your blind pride, and your refusal to acknowledge that this country was made by people that thought they were above those very same laws you claim to uphold. And what bothers you is that I'm telling the truth. You will get my respect when you deserve it. But thank you for watching!
Loved it all but the house example and cell phone part.....Wow. Well done sir. 👏 delivering such an important message in a humorous way. Fantastic!
