My sons are comfortable talking to me about everything. The bible says “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it - Proverbs 22:6”. My mum raised my 4 brothers pretty much on her own , but in saying that, there are just things a man can do for his son that a mother can’t and vice versa with the girls. Like how mums are strict on the girls but the dads are kind and protective it’s just those roles that each parent plays that can’t always be done by the other parent.
