I do appreciate how they've got them grouped by year. - rather than all different years mixed together. It makes viewing them all the better, and allows for a better view of how the cars changed & progressed thru the years.
James, thanks again for sharing your time at another Cadillac show with your Dad. I bet both of you have such a good time going to these and getting to see all these awesome and gorgeous classic cars 🙌😀
We enjoy each other’s company. Great fun!
I loved the early 1960's Cadillac ad that said' "Life is just one Cadillac after another."
man that Calais with the plaid upholstery was amazing. That specific car is on my bucket list. I think the Eldo could have the plaid too.
@@steves9905 My neighbor had an older model Calais with crank windows.
Out of all the videos you made, this was the best because it gave the viewer an ability to see so many beautiful and rare Cadillacs! If I wasn't working that day, I would have entered my 1996 Sedan de Ville, with only 85, 000 miles.
Thanks for showing those of us that could not make it to the show. Great video
I’m a Ford guy BUT I love Cadillacs. Always wanted to have one. It would have been great to be there in person at the show.
Some incredibly beauuuutiful Cars!
Wow- what a show- thanks for showing us James! LOVE that 64 wagon at 29:30! Too many favs to mention! Love how they are not parked side by side and have lots of space! They really had everything! Really well done show!!!
❤❤❤❤ I love that white 1959 Fleetwood and all those V16s
My dad’s car is the second car he shows. It’s the LaSalle it’s a 1940 and he won first place in his class. My dad is known as the LaSalle guy. Thanks for posting.
Great video at the Grand National. I was happy to see the Talisman and the rare entry level Calais coupe in such good condition (16:00)which was parked in FL. Cool interior and sans vinyl roof👍👍. Thanks James!
Why did he keep calling it a “Tails Man” instead of Talisman? Made me crazy 😂
Like the black XLR. Looks like lots of fun, hope you enjoyed the show.
LOTS of cool old cars!
A great video of an outstanding group of Cadillac and LaSalle cars. Thanks for making the effort to put this video together!
🔥🔥🔥
What a fantastic collection of Cadillacs, James! Thanks for sharing and covering so many of those amazing Cadillacs!
Hey Thank You James. What a Great Time!
Some beautiful pieces of history there. Gettysburg is a great place to visit and hallowed ground.
Such an astute documentary. Read his reviews, but this shows what a great car guy this star is!
Amazing cars
Loved seeing those Cadillac station wagons.
Thank you for this video!.. Your nice to look at as well,!...michael
The '75 Calais Coupe without a vinyl top was really interesting. This was the absolute cheapest Cadillac available in 1975. I'm wondering if this car was equipped with any options at all. It didn't have tilt, interval wipers, or Twilight Sentinal for sure. Morgan plaid cloth interior typified the fashion sensibiities of the 70's. And under 4K miles to boot! Amazing.
Just proud of you two!..Totally understand your situation is difficult.... So impressed with all your efforts and accomplishments...I'm in awe of all you have done together!.. michael
@@michaelbarrett1783 thanks!
thanks for the video, I'd give anything to be able to go to a car show again with my dad .
Nice work once again James! We will promote this video far and wide ! Let me know when you're ready to launch the Fall Festival video, i have some more info and images/ content for you .
That was from Dave L BTW - 😀
Absolutely stunning cars! Thanks James.
16:44 the best is the Calais, plaid interior and no vinyl top.
Thanks for The Show made my day Great Job keep Going and like your voice Was A Fun Interesting Show
AWESOME Show, Absolutely Beautiful Cadillacs. !!! Wish they would have a show like this in my area. Thanks for bringing to us James. !!!
James great you're a Caddy kind of guy: classy and mint.
10:35 “Tailsman” lol. Talisman😂. It’s one of my dream cars but so hard to find.
Great job James!❤
An excellent overview of the meet James! Almost as good as being there. I have enjoyed your content since you started, and it gets better and better. The Eldorado Brougham, the Talisman and the Calais coupe with Morgan plaid interior are my favorites. So great to see all of these fascinating vehicles in one sitting.
Good show!
Thank you so much for this posting - my father was a field engineer and instructor for Cadillac from 1962-75, when he moved to GM Product Training and training management for the remainder of his career. Sadly, he passed in 2015, but I could hear him talking about each of those vehicles and sharing the knowledge just as you and your father were doing.
Thank you, James, for another awesome video.
James, what a great video of a great car show! I liked all the Cadillacs, but especially the 1970s vintage Fleetwoods.
Boy, I,d sure love to be there to see this collection of amazing automobiles! I'm on my ninth Cadillac. To me, there's no other brand I'd like to own.
@ 17:20 Those two white Cadillac's are the definition of the 1980s.. I remember those when new and remember them being everywhere.. I loved the drive and feel of those 80s Eldorados and drove one, but they were easy to steal and I had mine stolen and found wrecked... It was lost to the junkyard
GREAT VID jAMES, LOVE TO ATTEND ONE DAY
GM called a glass moonroof(sunroofs are steel) an “Astroroof”.
23:00 my favorite
love you
Wonderful review! I love your presentation!
Very well done video! I have to point out that you overlooked one of the most unique first generation Sevilles. I could see it in the background in one of the segments. It is a 1978 Seville Elegante in black and silver, a very special, low production car.
I’d love to attend the show just once. First car was a 53 coupe, no power anything.
I think the box you were mentioning with the cubbie was actually the heater. They had a door you opened up to let the heat in
I hope Adam Wade watches this video to see the 1975 Calais with the funky interior.
Im a member a great club!!
Amazing cars!
First time watching one of your videos. Great coverage, your inquiry and facts were spot on. Everything you said was accurate. I can’t tell you how many of these videos I have watched by “younger” folks just spewing inaccuracies about the cars they are covering. If you want to take it up a notch, I would have loved to have seen you covering which cars had rare options and which did not. Example, the Flower car had the super rare radio delete plate (on a Cadillac, no radio!). Some of the early ‘70s cars had relatively rare passenger rear view mirrors, etc. That plaid interior Calais basically was a stripper, barely any options at all, no cruise, no tilt, no delay wiper, no sentinel/auto dimmer, manual bench seat. The only other thing was that I have definitely seen as Talisman in leather before, so there are some out there (I know that wasn’t your commentary). It’s that level of commentary that brings something elevated. Just my opinion, this video was a great job nonetheless.
@@tasaab where did you see a Talisman with leather? What year and colors?
@@MarkWasylyshyn A 1974 in Tan. Easily googled if you search “Cadillac Talisman Leather”
Skipped all of the '79-85 era Eldorados. There were a lot of winning cars in that class and a preservation example.
Where do they get the parts to fix these old schools ??
My Father drove a 66 Sedande ville in lt blue 500 V8, Alan’s Yangtze for sure,,
The 1966 Cadillacs had a 429 cubic inch V8 engine.
@ 32:55 I wish you would have shown that Ambulance in the background
It’s ’TAL-liss-man” - not “tails-man.😜
Love your videos but I wish you would've taken more time to show some of the other Cadillacs there, looks like you skipped over some real beauties - plus viewing the interiors through the side glass was difficult due to the glare reflecting off of the glass. I know I'll be the odd one out here but out of all the Cadillacs you showed I would drive out of there in that '71 Eldorado (8:40) in a heartbeat.
“Talisman” not Tailsman. 😢
I still think Cadillac/GM dropped the ball on the Seville.
The first model was a striking car and the STS had the chance to be a milestone but GM being GM kicked it to the curb.
Checkerboard? It's called plaid.
what the hell is the deal with a car show with so many cars with the windows up??
WHY do folks leave the windows up at a car show? why. Come on man!!
Bugs, insects, airborne debris? Peoples' needs to touch everything? Also the clumsy show attendee leaning in with a beverage or sloppy hot dog, and...oops.
