Sir, one query, what is called as sanction limit? limit which is approved in sanction note by credit before acceptance of client
Or limits which are accepted by the client is to be termed as sanction limit for exposure calculation.
Since RBI says "sanction or outstanding whichever is higher is to be reported as exposure.
For exposure calculation, when should I term it as sanction limits?

Sir. Very nice video. Sir one doubt. The performance guarantee will be issued as a percentage of the contact value at the time of awarding the contract. Say contact value is 100lacs and PG is 5% so Performance BG will be only Rs5 Lacs. Why we need to multiply 5 lacs with 5 years because we need not issue BG every year. I mean at the initial time it will issued, You have multiplied the same with 5. Thoda clarify karne ka kasht kare. Thank you sir.
If you see, we are calculating requirements for next 12 months. The borrower will apply for contract of 500 lacs in next 12 months i.e
In fy 24 and will be awarded 100 lacs. So what about next to next year i.e. fy 25? Then he will also apply new contracts of 500 lacs (minimum presumed) and similarly for fy 26, fy27. But the BG of 5% taken for contracts of fy 24 will be blocked for 5 years. Therefore he won't be having bandwidth for additional bg in coming years.
That's one way to explain this

Both are good. Although secured loans are always a bit better than unsecured loans
Sir, upto what amount can bank provide BG, as the contractor may promise that he is going to get new contracts let's say for 100 crore, but can there be any guideline value on basis of the turnover of precious years or it is completely dependent on future assumptions
All factors to be considered. You have to also judge that whether contractor is able to perform such high contracts or not. For example- previously contractor was doing turnover of 5 cr per year but now asking that he is applying for 100 crore contract. There is clearly mismatch as to his past trends

They give BG to govt. And they perform the contract e.g. make roads etc. and receive the govt payment and the difference in payment received and expense incurred by them on making road is the profit they earn
