    Lucky man Ben getting sent Soar kit - as you said it is expensive but blows everything else out of the water - all super comfortable, light and breathable plus has so many technical features for runners. I have the windbreaker 2.0 in Mercury and is beautiful - the all weather jacket looks mustard especially that colorway :) Great video again, be interested to see how you get on with all the gear over the coming cold months.

    Enjoying your channel:) I saw you on one of Ben Bridges videos. Thank you for the idea of coming back to the car to shed a layer after warm-up. Just finished a run and it's about -4 to -1 celcius here in Midwest U.S. I've been either starting cold with less layers or stashing a layer along the trail. Your way is much smarter. Lol. P.S. My wife is planning on using your egg poaching technique.

    • @BenIsRunning
      @BenIsRunning 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Ira. You can always take layers off but when you get cold it can be very hard to warm up again. I often take a jacket that i can just stash in a bush and then retrieve towards the end of a run :) Thanks for watching and hope the eggs go well.

    Do I blame or thank you? Thank you for being same weight & height, and so I knew the size I needed :-)
    Just had a SOAR drop of the Trousers, Orange socks and windbreaker 2.0 in Mercury plus some arm warmers/sleeves. Got 15% off so minor win.
    Already had dual fabric 2.0 tights (not the latest 3.0), soem summer tops and a few pairs of shorts. I do really believe in quaility first and these are worth the price. have you made a video on your stretching routine yet? I get very tight fast when training and sometimes it causes little pains that last for awhile. What do you do to hydrate to avoid cramping as well? These would make for helpful videos. I recentley did an 8k and didn't do too bad at a 30:45 however for the last km I had stomach cramps that really stunk because I could not do my fast finish that I'm used to. I usually don't cramp and haven't for my last few races which was unusual. I'm going to look into hydrating more before my next race. Side stitches are the worst!

    • @BenIsRunning

      If I'm honest I'm not really familiar with how it works? Is it monthly and do creators give things in exchange such as training videos?

    • @tomaindow
      @tomaindow 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BenIsRunning yeah it's a monthly subscription usually, and typically creators might do an exclusive video here and there, or perhaps a Q&A or some clips that didn't make it through an edit. I suppose those supposed to be an incentive, but I think even without it people just enjoy having a place to support creators with a small regular donation they can setup and leave. It can even be done per video, for example. It's a lot of work to keep a yt channel like this going and I'm sure myself and others here would be more than happy to give a little regular support to help with the costs, given the quality of what you're producing.
