OMG! Ye toh alaap sunke lag raha hai ki Khan Sahib Mehdi Hassan ghazal nahi....khayal ga rahe hain! Aur jab ghazal start hua tab Maine sochte rahe Gaya......kya yeh ghazal hai or kya main Raag Madhuvanti mein vilambit bandish sun raha hoon. Maine bahut gayak ko suna.....jinko raagon ke upar behad command tha or hai......lekin un singers ko sanmanpurbak bol raha hoon ki jab woh singers kisi raagon ki upar improvise karte the ....toh Kavita aur lyrics ka beauty Thora compromised hota tha. Lekin maze ki baat ye hai ki is ashcharya gayak chahe kisi raag ke upor jitna bhi improvise kar le.....ghazal ka maza kabhi kharab nehi hota tha. Shayad duniya mein aisa art sirf Khan Sahib ko hi hasil tha. Peer Baksh Sahib ka tabla vadan Khan Sahib ka gayaki ko aur bhi bahugunit kar diya. Shukriya Sumanji....aap jaise sangeetpremi bahut Kam dekhe hum. May God bless you.
