Exodus Steel Orchestra was founded by Amin Mohammed whose first experience with pan was with the Troubadors. He was a member of the Flamingoes Steelband but walked away with several other members to form the band in 1981. The name came from the exodus of the former band as Amin would say, “a movement of people”.
