Hey, we were lucky to find out from other fans, where some of the drivers were staying during the weekend. It was a hotel, not far away from the track. I can't say where because of privacy issues, plus, I don't know if they stay there every year. We were waiting for the drivers to arrive at the track on Thursday, when, making conversation with other fans, someone told us where they met the drivers one day before. I hope this information helps you.
where is the main entrance were you met the drivers? I wanted to find it on google maps, but i can’t :( I’m going there in 2024, and really wanna meet them.
Hey! Great overview of the GP weekend you got there! Just bought tickets to 24 GP in Austria, just wondering if you could get any tips on the camping there. First GP for us, but many metal festivals we went to, so I was just wondering if this is anyhow different. Thanks and cheers :)
Hey, as you could see, we didn’t have much experience with camping, all i can say we saw a lot of camping areas that were very close to the track. People are partying there the entire night. I think you need to buy a camping spot really early, they will probably be sold out as is the normal accommodation. Maybe someone who camped there and reads this, can tell you more.
Hi. We bought them cheap from a furniture store in a nearby town. You might also find at the track, if there are people selling them (try the camping areas where people bring their small personal businesses). But the chances to find are smaller.
@@yourtraveltime alrightyy, thank you for the heads up 🧡me and my sister are going to F1 for the first time next week and I really don’t know what to expect, though I fear a little bit the crowds, they seem massive at the general admissions
@@mariannakysova8341 don’t worry there is enough room for everyone on the grass. Have fun and enjoy the weekend. Where are you coming to see the race from?
@@mariannakysova8341 If you are driving maybe it’s easier to bring some camping chairs from home, so you won’t have to search for them in a place that will be very crowded.
Thinking about going in 24, were you standing just after Turn 3 and can also see down to 6 & 7 ? What is the closest airport and did you get a hire car and stay in a hotel, thanks
Hey, yeah, the general admission area is between turn 3 and 4 and you can see turns 6 and 7 also, and the uphill after turn 8. I would say Vienna is the closes and biggest Airport. There are also smaller ones, depends from where you’re coming. I drove my own car and stayed at Airbnb. You can use public transportation or rent a car but if you wanna find a place to stay, you should search already. The longer you wait, the further away you’ll find something.
Nice video. Thank you for sharing information and your experience. Can we get in touch somehow? I would like to speak with you a little bit more about this. 🙂
There is no successful recipe for that, but with luck, you can take fotos of them in the fan zone area, most likely on Friday. Another way would be to wait for them at the entrance of the track, on thursday/friday/etc, some of them might stop. We met them on Thursday evening, at the hotel where they stayed. Some fans told us where they were staying and we went there. Good luck!
Nice video thanks for sharing. This will be my first GP I will be watching from Start/Finish line. So excited!
Have fun!

Hey, thanks for asking. Try searching Schloss Gabelhofen on google maps. It's not far away from the track. I met them there.

@@kasparsbanders I didn’t but you can find them online, on the f1 website.
Great video! Just wondering if the AustriGP is e tickets or physical tickets? Purchasing g from Australia. Thanks 👍 😊
They are e tickets, but for a faster entrance, i recommend printing it and having the QR code at hand.
Thanks for making this nice video❤ I just got tickets to go in 2025🎉😁
Thanks! Enjoy the race in 2025, we might go again next year xD
Where did you get the chairs, were they accessible at the track ?

Was the place on grass from where you watched qualifications free or did you need tickets?
The green area is the cheapest because there are no seats, but the view is as good. We payed 120 euro for the entire weekend.
