Great review. I'm curious how it would go cutting through anti-static IC rails? I have some rails that I regularly need to cut to length, but they are too hard & brittle to cut-through with a hobby knife, so I currently need to use a hacksaw, which then leaves a lot of file clean-up. Not sure what they're made out of, but I assume the brittleness has to do with the anti-static nature? The tool is too expensive to chance that it will work for this. But, if it can also cut through these like butter, I might be tempted!
If I'm not mistaken, the IC rails you are speaking of are made out of PVC. They are used for circuit boards and such, correct? I am going to be streaming this Thursday evening and messing around with the saber. If you're interested in watching live or catching the VOD, I'll be testing it out on several items, including PVC.
@@Aligning_The_Stars Yes, a quick google does suggest these IC rails are made with "Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with an antistatic surfactant treatment". It would be really good if you are able to try out some equivalent thickness PVC cutting. I'll take a look at your video, and try to catch the livestream if compatible with my timezone. Thanks!
Great review Jordan. That looks so cool!
Thanks Donnie! Can't wait to see what this thing can do. *slaps the top of the cutter*
Awesome review dude, I gotta get one of these things.
Thanks Ian! This thing is awesome
Great review Jordan. I hope you get plenty of use from this one.
Thank you Ken. And thank you Ken. Wait.... what just happened?!
