love the build! can you talk about the wind turbine? Do you leave it up while driving out have to take it down? Can the Victron handle this input power at the same time as the alternator power when you're driving?
Hey David! The turbine is really our take on creative energy generation, it’s still in its proto-type phase and has a quick disconnect from the base which stays mounted on the roof so the turbine can be stored while the vehicle is in motion. Future iterations will have a cradle and a collapsible boom to maximize wind and Also more convenient stowage while in motion. Both the aux alternator and the wind turbine generator have Their own voltage sensing controllers and regulators; they all play nicely together so far.
