mixmatchknoname Absolutely, custom themes are the perfect choice. Avoid any potential copyright claims and customise it so it has the perfect intro, style, aura etc.
IMO having a custom theme helps with building a brand. It allows you to modify with your development and with your character. When trying to match entrance style it gives alot more freedom, just make sure the production team have a chance to listen to if before you come out.

With my company, we use a lot of "copyright free" music from different sources that TH-cam doesn't demonetize. This makes it a little more difficult for the big pops. I like your ring ropes. I use cable ropes with black hosing, but I want to start using the classic ropes WWE style. What kind of tape are you using for the ropes?
Very interesting and helpful. I do have a question. I know on the indies, I too have seen wrestlers use popular or unique songs for their intro. Have you ever heard of one who uses movie soundtracks as a theme? If so, what was it?
I chose my theme song to be Alpha and Omega by Swarm. I chose it because it's badass and really fits my Character Jack Fear. He basically is the usual egotistical and cheating Heel but with a God-Complex and very much a sadist. In his eyes he is the God of NXT (where I imagine him being at this point in time) and everyone else are pesants that are lesser than him (he constantly references this). His moveset is mostly that of a mix of a technician and striker. He uses superkicks and knee strikes alot. I believe it really fits him as he lives for watching his opponents suffer and truly enjoys breaking them down bit by bit, not only physically, but also mentally emotionally, and definitely spiritually. His signature move is a package suplex piledriver kinda move that he calls the Dream Crusher. His finisher he called the Revelations knee( referencing the bible which I used to create my gimmick and character). It is basically a running knee strike to the side of the head. So far I imagined him being a NXT tag team champion which he wins with his former best Friend Ray Jay Jet ,the longest reigning NXT champion (around 730 days) and NXT's first ever double champion holding both the NXT and NA championships (sorry Kieth Lee) being a 2 time NA champion. He would win the NXT championship from Adam Cole at around his 200 and something day and hold it until losing it to Finn Balor when like 100 days after he wins the championship in real life. (Hope this doesn't sound too Mary Sue but he isn't OP. The main reason he held it for so long is from outside help of his associate Butch Cassidy and his Girlfriend Angelica, who would regularily interfere in matches. He also usually loses his matches by purposeful Disqualification. He has no qualms against this as he belives that being champion doesn't mean always winning but it's doing whatever it takes to hold onto the championship. Also his Tag team championship and NA championship runs wouldn't be that long. The latter he loses it to Sanity around 80 and something days after wining it and the former in his first defence against Ray Jay Jet. His 2nd NA championship he would win from carmello Hayes like 1 paperview away from Stand and Deliver and lose it in the Ladder match to Grimes( forgot his fist name🥲). At this point I imagine him in a next feud against Ray Jay Jet on smackdown after being called up for a unsactioned at Wrestlemania Backlash which I imagine him losing( this contrasts their first match in NXT Takeover which had the same stipulation that Jack won). I don't imagine him beating Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship but I belive after sometime the first championship he wins on the main roster being the IC title. I really thought alot about this. How do you think I did developing a character and Story😃?

Yep, exactly why a lot of free matches on TH-cam cut the entrances.
We just use regular, thin electrical tape on the ropes I'm pretty sure.
