Also the current version relies on vulnerabilities in specific PSP games that you need to buy from the PSN. VHBL comes with no guarantee it will work on your Vita. Naturally It is super easy for Sony to patch the vulnerabilities used by this tool, given the amount of control they have on the PS Vita. Depending on your game, VHBL runs fine on firmware 1.80, but it is possible for Sony to patch the game’s vulnerability without a firmware update. So like i said its still unstable and a gamble ;P

To my understanding they using an exploit in some of the psp games to inject the Half-Byte Loader (HBL) which is an open source Homebrew Loader for the Sony PSP and the PS Vita. It allows you to play fan-made games on the Vita up to firmware 1.80. HBL allows you to run emulators and many other applications. At this time you CANNOT Pirate games. The HBL makers have no plans on allowing you to pirate games and you will have to wait for someone else to hack the vita.

oh and i suggest checking out the bluecell analog grips/dpad too. theyre actually rubber that slip onto the analog sticks rather than plastic snaps
