I will go back and reevaluate my feelings and expressions on it. I loved the unexpected soft moments. I think I really am too forceful at times. Debussy requires sensitivity and subtlety. You really capture that. Thank you!
WOW I just listened to the submerged cathedral!!! That is literally the best version I have ever heard. Were you using the harmonic pedal? What an incredible sound your piano makes. The low register sounds so clear and gorgeous. Astonishing richness, like hearing the music underwater. I am going to try this piece next and I will definitely be referring to your recording for guidance. I think hearing especially the perfect clarity of the low notes really enhanced my understanding of the harmonics. It’s really a unique piece. Thank you so much.
