Del Taco!!! Way to go Jayla! It's my only reference to Provo and I tell everyone to get some when they go out west. Cheers to you two!

Thank you! And I’m sure we will! One of our friends really wants to go so we may actually rent a wet suit next time.

Great video. I'm doing a similar trip in an RV for the first time. How does the parking work? I thought I had to book paid campsites but in your video it seems like you found free places to park? Is that legal and how do you find them? Thanks!

Yes there is plenty of free federal land you can park on. Mostly it’s on BLM Land (Bureau of Land Management) and National Forests. We used the Allstays Camp and RV app to find free spots. There’s also other apps like Campendium, iOverlander and FreeRoam. Allstays was the most comprehensive but it costs money. If you have $5 to spare it’s the best one for sure. It shows you locations where other users have stayed before and we only looked for free spots. The apps also show rest stops and free parks that allow you camp overnight.

@@JaylaAndArtur thanks for the tips. I'm using RV Parky to plan the trip but I can't see any filter for free places to stop. There is something called "Rest Area" on the map so I'm wondering if these are the free areas where I can spend the night?
