I wonder if that house and Edie’s house had real upstairs levels too. Most houses in Wisteria Lane and other houses used for different movies and shows don’t, all “upstairs” scenes are usually shot on sets built on sound stages, like Gabby’s house that uses the real house for only the living room and the main entrance and the kitchen, and the upstairs rooms are all created in sound stages. I’m such a nerd when it comes to this, I always try to find out about the interiors of houses and apartments used for shows, it’s a incredible fascination I have. Thank you so much for this video.
Same. I'm re-watching this series which was my secret favorite during my middle/high -school days. And now that I'm older I I'm looking up all this behind the scenes stuff to see how it was all shot. Very interesting!
@@NEONPARADlSE it has always been my favorite show. I have visited wisteria lane on the Universal tour but only from the car, never approached the houses. But I wish they had featured a complete tour of the houses and the sets built because it absolutely fascinates me to this day.
@0:29, in reference to “. . . the set designer made a mistake” on Eva’s/Gaby’s house for not setting Wisteria - Eva’s character was a self hating surburbanite who cherished her galvanized urban Manhattan life. The set designer distinguished that house with purpose and made no such ‘mistake.’
