Aww this is just a wonderful rendition of Night Life. I used to play Pedal Steel when I was MUCH younger (lol) and when I hear this.......yeah I gotta say I miss it.
In my humble opinion, there are three greats.......Tommy White, Paul Franklin, and Doug Journigan. And of course Buddy Emmons, who is the God father of the pedal steel.
In my humble opinion, there are three monsters. Tommy White, Paul Franklin, and Doug Journigan. No I didn't forget Buddy Emmons, for we all know he was the Godfather of the pedal steel.
Fantastic playing by Tommy White and by Pig Robbins on piano. What a pity this clip is called Night Live and not Life. It would have got many more viewings.
This song has no age, no matter how many times you listen to it, it still feels fresh
Cool sound . Love it Tommy

So much taste and soul in this but enough sparkle to keep you engaged. Not underplayed or overplayed.
